  1. Past hour
  2. its not a simple question when you are making said question up. Show us "plenty of posts" blaming bryce for the loss. Most I have seen have given him his due for his td pass and acknowledged the team, coaches etc were pretty much poo yesterday
  3. Not trying to boost him with any "mythical narratives". It's's a simple question based upon stats and facts. Nothing mythical about it.
  4. Solution to this IMO. QBs and any runner are allowed to slide aka give themselves up. If they fake a slide or sideline step out (ie Mahomes vs Jackson earlier this season), and continue on to gain an advantage, automatic 15 yard unsportsmanlike penalty and game misconduct warning. If they do it again, another 15 yards and automatic ejection. 3 times in a season, 3 game suspension. 4 times, 6 game. Every time after, 6 games. That'll take care of that poo real quick.
  5. Brother, try it juiced up with adrenaline and caffeine against a player/team that's been talking cash money shiit to you. I promise injuries would go up for the defenders trying to avoid hitting/contact. I already figured it out, new rule the QB must signal(much like a fair catch) he intends to slide and NOT at the last nano second of some NFL defender in full sprint. QB uses his off-ball hand to show he intends on sliding. Then the defender has enough time to try and avoid hitting the QB like was done in every year pre-2010s.....
  6. no please link to where someone said it was all on bryce yesterday? I havent seen it but there are a lot of threads. Show me the context of posts of which you are referring to
  7. Some very good improvements. They took more than 1 step forward. Yes, greatly. Can he keep improving? Defensive coaching needs to improve.
  8. There are plenty of post trashing Bryce put up since yesterday. I'm sure you have seen them
  9. who the fug said it was his fault? Goddamn man dont create mythical narratives to try and boost him up. He had a meh game. You cant deny that. But it was a team loss and we will never know if the game plan was a result of what DC thinks of Bryce but his words and actions kindof hint to it
  10. whats crazy is that he got sacked 5 yards back from where he got the snap IN THE SHOTGUN!!
  11. I'll ask you like I asked mrcompletely11, what was it about this game that makes you believe the loss was his fault. I keep asking but no one has given me a specific reason yet. Just a simple question.
  12. Got it. So the only way we get in with a split is beating Seattle and they lose to the dolphins
  13. I simply asked about this one game. What was it about this game that makes you believe the loss was his fault.
  14. Can you see the open gap? Bad play call or poorly executed by Chuba? All you needed to do was run off Ekwonu to the defenders foot with some straight ahead power running. The play call pulled the LB from filling the gap between Ekwonu & Tremble. Jump cutting to the right side when the play is a 33 dive? Seems like a significant lack of vision & decision making by the RB was the main problem.
  15. Yeah the first one is more of a coincidental thing, I do not think there is any correlation there but it just sounds good!
  16. Years ago I put on my Nostradamus hat and foreetold that the WRs would start avoiding hits by sliding and running out of bounds more. More track and world class sprinters would enter the realm of football and its millions of paydays I still believe it, honestly Id already be doing if I was a WR....who cares about the public outcry, the sport is heading towards flag-football each year. I think its still within 20 years of happening, but the under handed free throw never took off cause players are too pridefull even if they are scoring more and helping the team win...... Unless its the Superbowl, does it matter to your body if the pass goes for 37 yards or 35 and 4 guys tired to kill me....its business....
  17. It’s simple. We all saw with our own eyes. The best QB on the field Sunday was a 2nd round rookie in his 6th NFL start….and that QB is on a worse team. and Bryce was the #1 overall pick, is now in his 3rd season….and again, in both matchups the Saints QB was the best QB on the field. We have a QB problem
  18. Most of the comments I've seen have been very scathingly critical of Canales in game management and decisions. Evero and multiple key defenders have gotten a ton of smoke too. As far as Bryce goes I think it depends on the viewer. Some people were all about giving him credit for game winning drives even when he basically did little or nothing but still received the credit. Now the same people want to cry foul when Bryce is expected to as a third year QB and a first overall pick not lose to a rookie 2nd round pick 8 games into his career. Well I'm sorry it just doesn't work that way. He's the face of the franchise. He's the third highest paid player on the team this year. The team goes as the QB goes. Aside from the late sack he was kept relatively clean throughout the bulk of the game even with the injuries we've had along the OL. Shough on the other hand was harassed throughout the game and he still completed passes into tight windows throughout the game. Bryce on the other hand while he is receiving a positive grade for his scrambling saw fit to bail on the pocket throughout the game. Some of those were justified others were not and resulted in missed opportunities. Then there is the elephant in the room that even Dave Canales himself even uttered the quiet part out loud about. That is the fact that in short yardage situations we cannot under any circumstances use our #1 pick on a QB sneak. Which let's just keep it 100 here. If this were any other team everyone here including the loudest Bryce defenders would be laughing their asses off. All of this encompasses a singular conclusion that no matter how much people may like Bryce Young the person ultimately he does not appear to be a QB that we can compete for and win in the playoffs with. It isn't hating or any other ridiculous label to acknowledge this reality. It's just life.
  19. after 3 years of this you are still making excuses? Goddamn people If you think he is a NFL qb then great, thats on you, but there is now 40ish plus games telling us a different story. Nobody that I have seen has blamed him for the loss, but it was just another "meh" game from him and lol at PFF.
  20. I'm sorry but I don't agree. Maybe a win but will not be in the playoffs.
