I swear..... this is RICH coming from a guy talking about cuming down some random #6 womans throat while you were married to Angie, the wife who gave you children. Steve talks about being a 'man" and all that stuff, the husband of the woman whom Steve sent all those lewd text messages called you on face time. Steve started crying like a BITACH and ended the call after a bitach voiced "Im sorry". fug Steve Smith, Im shocked he's not in jail and Im done with him getting career as a world class asshole. Go enjoy your empty home and I hope Angie takes ALLLLL your money and time away from your kids. God forbid Steve influences them with his "Im from the street" mindset. Angie and John Kasay helped steve form being Steve, what a joke. insane levels of irony form this Steve weirdo that thinks he's super smart and people owe him all sort of special treatment when he is a giant turd inside and out.

Who said impressive? I just reported what Shefter said. Willis will not command as much as you think. The problem will be how strongly Green Bay will want to hang onto him. He obviously has no chance to start there and if GB wants to move on from Love it will not be with Willis. Willis is a long way from being a full time starter and highly doubt he has franchise qb in him. But he is young and can win you some games in a pinch.

Dude plays well below his 40 time and dink and dunk QB.

Joe Person: Austin Corbett is not expected back with Panthers
Basbear replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
if they do this, its another mistake like letting Shaq go when he was willing to sign for near vet min, he had a good year with the bills and after Jewell leftd Shaq would have been perfect as a fall back/insurance. I get injuries and all, but I also get the cap space and he's willing to come back on the cheap. They must feel he's "done", I know he didn't have a good season bouncing around, still feel this isn't the right move. -
Meditation: Reading Morgan,Reasons to bypass Edge and More
Basbear replied to MHS831's topic in Carolina Panthers
sorry mhs, I only read stuff that reaffirms my line of thought......... -
I don't disagree. Morgan has had multiple chances to address center in the draft. It's finally catching up to him

Im not even after a token guy at this point. Bryce is 1a, <insert name> is 1b. We don't have a definitive starting QB for the next 5 years. We need to be using all available QB roster spots to look. 2 I would like to see are Howell and Levis if he becomes available. Both have the tools, just make boneheaded mistakes. The same can be said of Darnold and he just got a ring as the starting QB that limited bone headed mistakes. If they don't work out, no harm done. We gave them an opportunity, and it didn't work out. I'm out on guys like Tua, Murray and Cousins. We know what they are and they're not the future. It's time to start getting aggressive about solving our QB problem and not just by throwing picks to move up and pray. Once we have our franchise guy for the next 5 years, then we can ease off the search. Until then, hammer down.

Have listened to a few too, and they are kind of running together. I just hesitate to have confidence in a 3rd or 4th round rookie starting at C.

Daniel Jeremiah was talking about the depth at center during the OL workouts. I've heard it a few other times as well while listening to draft podcasts. There isn't a Tyler Linderbaum level prospect, but a lot of good 3-5th round centers.

It was bad enough that an all time bad QB performance was excused by it. I think they will address C adequately, and am more worried about LOT.

Wow you and I share a birthday although you have 32 years on me

Who calls it a strong C draft? I heard the opposite so curious. I can’t cite a source and you don’t have t just asking if there is one or if that is your opinion. I do think that if teams get Mayes and stick him in between weak guards they may regret it. And think ours will benefit a guy.

Former NFL Network’s Lindsey Rhodes on Carolina Panthers
strato replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Technically Young was 8-8 regular season. 8-9 overall. List games he carried the team please. I’ll give him a couple. Top of my head… Yardage record vs Atlanta, played well vs Dallas. IIRC, 4 qtrs of good play which was almost a career 1st. Some spurts in the second half - vs LA Rams comes to mind. Played well in the WC game. Whole team did. Failed at the end. Laid a lot of eggs too. You don’t get a great record after a loss unless you have a lot of losses. Jags, Cards - sorry most of that 2nd half was Cards prevent (like we use to do in 2015 - go up big fast and slack off let them back in, have to turn it on again at the end) Jets Saints Saints 9ers Seahawks On the fence Re Green Bay due to the wind and the strategy employed but he was not great there. -
Well, we will see. I would almost guarantee he will not be signing with the Panthers. Opinion. For discussion, what impressive vets? Cousins? Rodgers? People would have to trade for Mac Jones. Daniel Jones… Achilles? That is a scary thing. I read some speculation on Stroud maybe moving on because Houston loves their backup. Long shot. Bears holding onto Bagent, Johnson loves him. Tua for a starting job somewhere? I’d rather try Willis. Surely I have missed a couple of guys. There is talk about David Carr coming back.

But we didn't win. We only got into the playoffs because another team got us there. We are a 6 win team realistically. You don't usually win games scoring 13 and 16. Those are anomalies not to be relied on year in and year out. If backing our way into the playoffs every year with a losing record is the standard, we need another fugging standard.
-
That would be the definition of pushing Young. Which I have thought we have needed to do since day one. I wanted him to have to beat someone out. Even a token guy, just beat someone out and give the appearance you earned the job.
-
I want someone who can push Young. Camp doesn't need to be an open competition, but it doesn't need to be a closed one either. If another QB comes in and blows the doors off camp and betters Young, he deserves a chance to be the starting QB. We shouldn't avoid picking up another QB because we're afraid he might unseat our number 1 overall. Always look to improve.

Lol well here we go again. Mine lasted maybe a year and I found out I was the other man lol. It was like when these guys have two families. I never snuck around, had no idea. Can’t trust HR. I wasn’t looking at any future settling down in those years or it might have really messed me up. The real loss was ironically I had decided to try and be faithful in this relationship because I had not been that guy in the past… and turned down a few really nice opportunities. I can’t tell you the amount of willpower in the moment that took. Lol my timing sucks sometimes.

I don’t think getting Lloyd is a move that says “we’re all in” - and even if they think a guy like Trotter/Allen/Rodriguez could be great in the draft, we need a defensive captain. Chenal is appealing and my target, but you never know how things are behind the scenes/which players like who/who goes well together and Chenal is probably getting 15-18 per anyways. I get it with Lloyd. And I don’t think Chubb will be Meagan pricey but we’ll see. I personally see a trade on the horizon and Lloyd coming in given everything I’ve read between the lines.

I had over 204.5 in Knicks / Spurs. Coasting to over, game turns ugly, Spurs empty their bench and score 4 fuging points the final 3:20, game lands on 203.

We are 100% drafting a C to start. (Jones, Hecht, Law, Slaughter) I'm sure it's been Dan Morgan's plan all along. I find it smart because it's an EXTREMELY strong center draft. I'm glad Morgan recognizes that. You can't keep everyone in a salary cap world. Also, let's stop pretending that Cade Mayes was an "all world" center. He was solid, but not great. Let some other team give him 8-9 mill a year

I did too. We didn't even make it through the 1st date. The conversation was forced and I kept getting the feeling I was being interviewed. I didn't fit into whatever mold she had, which was fine, but it was a weird experience.
