  1. Past hour
  2. Ladd was obviously the pick, but we decided to take the big swing. I realize that most here don't see that as an excuse, but I'm just saying that I understand, even if I don't love what it's come to. Teams that are rebuilding from the studs should probably take a more conservative approach.
  3. If McCarthy keeps looking like this, that AT trade is going to be a pretty small concern in comparison to the others.
  4. Now if we can just end the other drought... And I'm not talking LB, Safety or TE for those paying attention.
  5. He said it offhand too. It only works if you don't put up a goose egg though.
  6. Wonnum plays well, but Jones needs to be relegated to back up status. He will be an excellent back up, but Scourton is a better talent. Wonnum plays the run better than Princely now, but we are in a youth movement and Princely needs reps. I hope that both of these guys are going to be good for us down the road!
  7. The most frustrating thing is that the majority of the Huddle can see most of these mistakes coming as they're happening. It's just frustrating when a bunch of crayon eating casual football fans can see what a professional football organization keeps missing.
  8. At least we signs of the 2025 draft redefining "usual." I hope.
  9. The only advice that guy needs right now...
  10. I actually don’t mind starting Princely and Scourton. I am worried about Incoom and Johnson behind them though. We will be fine with Tremble instead of Sanders. McMillan being out would be bad, but we will get to see more from the other guys. I highly doubt Chuba will miss they did this a lot with him last year when he was going to get a big workload. What sucks is NE is 2nd against the run and like 30th against the pass
  11. obviously Ladd was the choice. just saying any of them are better than what we got per usual
  12. Yeah it hurts. X not living up to expectations also. I sense people are a bit too casual about the supposed starters and their lack of impact in games, but, then again, when life gets you down, you have to pull yourself up off the ground and keep on moving.
  13. The unmitigated gall of this acehole!
  14. Patriots are out a starting G. Starting Corner is questionable. Other than that, everyone else listed was a full participant. The other G is questionable but I think anyone that is a full participant generally always is a go.
  15. And that's the issue with Baker. He's just a blow hard and took a shot at a guy that wasn't even thinking about him. He has always had a bad attitude and when he played terribly nobody was trying to hear it. Now that he is in a weak division and inherited a championship roster, he can get his team to the divisional round every year. Todd Bowles needs to tell him to cut that crap out. He looked lame and petty.
  16. Wonnum being out does hurt. At least we will get to see both our rookie edges a ton and let them get more experience. Then see DJ Johnson come in for one on rushing situations.
  17. I think XL is getting a Bryce Young Seattle game.....only it's more than 1 game. I think dude just needs a break. So much of football is mental.
  18. Keon Coleman ain't really hitting on too much. He's really a project. We were going receiver first, and that should've been Ladd.
  19. The XL out status last two weeks reads as he's actively being shopped to all GMs. Wonnum is going to be missed. Feel like he's one of the more solid rushers we have.
  20. I mean, it was Morgan's experience as the GM. Moreover, several GMs skipped Ladd. Lastly, the only real round that you can expect football-ready players is the first. Ladd should've been the guy on everyone's list (except maybe the Jags').
  21. If McCarthy keeps looking like this they're going to regret giving up any future draft capital to put a bandaid approach WR on the last legs of his career out there for him.
  22. Still... can't be the ROI that Vikings expected for what they gave up?
  23. I'm beginning to give up on him. Still hope he can turn into a Highend WR3 to finish out his rookie contract. Just hurts when see so many players the next few picks after him pan out. Obviously Keon Coleman or Ladd but even defense. Sweat, Fiske, Dejean, Sainrstill, or Cooper. We are our own worst enemy.
  24. I do. He signed a contract to do a job. If he decides to opt out after that contract runs out its one thing, but he signed up to take the cash and should have the honor to do his darndest to earn it.
