You can see what the front office is trying to do here: go after Njoku or Okonkwo. If we land one of them, we cut Tommy Tremble and use his $6 million in cap space toward the new deal. If we miss out, we keep Tremble. Either way, there’s a good chance we end up upgrading at that spot

Achilles is a pretty bad injury, but not quite as bad for an olineman, it saps explosiveness. But ICKEYs injury is 100% a worse injury Achilles has a 82% return to performance rate (although it takes about 2 years) ickeys injury is somewhere around 30% return to performance.

I would go further and say the way they played in the WC game changed the perception. It isn’t just making it, they backed in. Big time backed in. If they had gotten whipped like they didn’t belong, which I think a lot of people expected, people don’t see them like they seem to see them now. The stadium atmosphere, the team playing like they deserved to be there, made a big impression on people.
