Yeah and possibly both on the road. Team just completely died in the fourth quarter
-
Welp. Play in it is, and we’re going to have to win 2 in a row.
-
Team just can't keep it going for four quarters yet unless they're blowing teams out. They'll figure it out soon enough
-
These officials are conplete ass

It is time to Consider the Likelihood of WR at #19
tukafan21 replied to MHS831's topic in Carolina Panthers
If all you're looking at is his season yardage statistics, then sure, they won't look great, but look a little deeper and the production is clearly there on the field... As an UDFA, the teams #3 WR, and poor QB play, he had 478 yards in only 11 games. If he had that average over a 17 game season he would have had a 738 yard season as an undrafted rookie. This past year he missed the start of the season and clearly took time to get back to form once he was back. But remove his first 4 games getting back to form, and over the final 7 games he had a per game average that would have been a 796 yard season over 17 games. 796 yards this past season would have been 34th in the league overall, and 27th best for a WR. And that was all before he went and dropped a 134 yard game in the playoffs. Pretty sure that's pretty darn good production for a 2nd or 3rd option, no? So again, I think it's wildly unfair to say we only have 1 WR, as if Coker plays a full season this year, he should be good for 800-1000 yards, even with T-Mac next to him getting 1,200+ himself. This is why I don't at all see the need for drafting a WR in the 1st this year, not while still having XL, Horn Jr, and I guess Metchie even though I'm not at all sold on him. Draft a speedy WR in the 3rd or 4th and/or sign a vet (is DHop still out there?) to play in the slot this year, and use that 1st on a position of more need. -
This is a solid stat and appreciate the context. Can't argue with it. Just wish they would win a big game or two late in the season. Fighting hard vs full power Detroit, maybe tonight is the night.

ATL is going to be a tough out for one of them higher seeds. They’ve got a well built team

Sure you do

It's not hate. It's reality. Yall are for real in here defending the state of Carolina basketball, predicting top recruiting classes when nothing has changed 8 miles down the road where they've been kicking our ass in recruiting for YEARS, and banking that it's all fixed with these hires. I hope you're right, unfortunately I think you're not. I've been to every Final Four Carolina has been in during my adult life. I've been to both Panthers Super Bowls. If the Hornets play in anything meaningful, I'll be there too. I root for these teams to win harder than anyone, but I also call a spade a spade. Charles Lee sucks but the talent is good, Belichick sucks and who knows where that goes, and Canales sucks and so does the talent on the Panthers. Go to the Hurricanes forum, I've never said a bad thing about that team because while they've fallen short the last several years, they aren't a bunch of dipshits doing dipshit things in games / during the season. But y'all keep pounding your chests that OUR teams have arrived. Can't even imagine the level of disappointment that comes with that.

I don't find it unfair at all. Have you compared Coker's actual production to other second and third options in the league. Come on, man. For the record, I am a proponent of the BPA. I don't care what position it is. Similarly, I am very much against reaching down over a superior player to get another one based on need. It's as simple as that. -
I've given up on that dream. I'd love to even get up to 8 but that seems tough
-
Hornets bet should get there
-
I don't either but that could get us to 6 or 7
-
I don't see that happening. Just because Atlanta is better than miami
-
Hornets really need Atlanta to lose the last 2
-
If Cleveland loses, I don't think the Knicks will have anything to play for sunday
- Today
-
Hawks smashing the Cavs, and the 76ers up early on the pacers. Haven’t checked on the Magic yet
-
We've missed a lot of wide open shots. They are getting good looks
-
Going to the half down 3. I’ll take it. Need a win tonight. We need to win the final two
-
Every time the Hornets tie it, Detroit has an answer
-
Also too busy to watch, while hating on Tarheel assistant coaching hires and probably Hurricane and Panthers fan optimism.

Panthers are at an extremely pivotal point

We may or may not like the draft as Tillis is thinking more about 2027 and 2028 forward that brings into view contract life, age of signed players, potentially paying a QB it also means CB may be in play; ie. Moving Jackson or even Horn…not out of the question and that kinda explains the latest CB visit (also coming off injury) Same goes for oline …etc i just want no injured players. Injuries come frequently enough in the NFL. Don’t need rehab projects to start careers -
Somewhere, heels Panthers guy is watching this game excited that the pistons are winning
