I’ve been critical of Bryce, but I don’t put yesterday’s loss on him. Were there some bad throws and questionable decisions? Sure, every quarterback has those in every game. Overall, I thought he did what he needed to do and did his 1/11th. I’m not saying the rest of the team didn’t try, but either the Saints simply wanted it more than we did, or the NFL decided to stir up some drama by setting the stage for a Week 19 showdown for the division crown. Either way, the reality is that the team as a whole didn’t play well yesterday.

You know I've always wondered if the Ref's Union has a NDA on their contracts. It seems to me that someone would come forward and say something. I have felt since Goodell became the commissioner that some games are rigged to make the playoffs more exciting. Some Storylines that gives you something to think about. The Patriots wins the SB right after 9/11 New Orleans wins right after Katrina Denver wins the Super Bowl on one of the NFLs greatest QBs plays his last game. It's too coincidental.

i dont get it. when your qb is this limited is kills your offense. we talk about gameplanning, but you have to gameplan around a massive weakness in your offense. we are 10th in rushing , but 28th in passing and points i believe. points come out of the passing game. we will never be even a mediocre offense with bryce. i have the NFL Gamepass and when in watch the all 22 of other qbs it makes me sick to my stomach that our qbs throws dont look like theirs.

You think because Bryce didn’t lose it….he isn’t at fault. Bryce is at fault because the expectations for him are different than for PJ Walker. It’s not complicated. Bryce being outplayed by Shough again is why he is a key issue in almost every game.

Main job for a QB is wins. WHile BY didn't have one of his classic "bad" BY game, he didn't do enough for the team to win. Still BY is faaar down the list for that saints game. He did a good job of using his legs when needed. While Icky and BY finally stepped up and took a terrible timed sack.

your asking a question about something that most people arent saying. i dont think anyone thinks that this game is solely his fault for losing. He just had his regular Bryce game of mediocrity and we couldnt overcome it. when your game plan is to limit the involvement of your qb you are cooked! we cant use him for hail marys or sneaks either.

The bar for Bryce Young isn’t the same as PJ Walker. It’s his 3rd year. He is the #1 overall pick and he throughly got outplayed twice by a second round rookie on a worse team. I just answered you. Not being able to outplay and be better than Shough is why it’s his fault. And no sane human watches those 2 games and thinks Shough didn’t outplay him….and Shough wasn’t out of this world.

its not a simple question when you are making said question up. Show us "plenty of posts" blaming bryce for the loss. Most I have seen have given him his due for his td pass and acknowledged the team, coaches etc were pretty much poo yesterday

Solution to this IMO. QBs and any runner are allowed to slide aka give themselves up. If they fake a slide or sideline step out (ie Mahomes vs Jackson earlier this season), and continue on to gain an advantage, automatic 15 yard unsportsmanlike penalty and game misconduct warning. If they do it again, another 15 yards and automatic ejection. 3 times in a season, 3 game suspension. 4 times, 6 game. Every time after, 6 games. That'll take care of that poo real quick.

Brother, try it juiced up with adrenaline and caffeine against a player/team that's been talking cash money shiit to you. I promise injuries would go up for the defenders trying to avoid hitting/contact. I already figured it out, new rule the QB must signal(much like a fair catch) he intends to slide and NOT at the last nano second of some NFL defender in full sprint. QB uses his off-ball hand to show he intends on sliding. Then the defender has enough time to try and avoid hitting the QB like was done in every year pre-2010s.....
