College referees for the National Championship (CFP) earn significant per-game fees, often $10,000 or more, plus travel, as they are paid like NFL-level officials for the biggest games, a big jump from lower-round bowl games ($3,000-$5,000) and regular season games, as they are compensated for their high-stakes, late-season involvement, not an annual salary. So refs only get 10k for doing a shitt job........what was the line for this game, pre-game and leading? ugh....

The fact is is that from Albert Breer and other sources, Sean McDermott had virtually just as much power as Beane did. It was a collaboration. All that being said, it's not even really worth discussing, as Beane is in Buffalo, an established GM, and still highly regarded in league circles based upon the same body of work which some Huddlers are being hypercritical about. We have Dan. I like Dan. He improved from year one to year two, and hopefully he continues to help the franchise progress.
