It’s not just about throwing it shorter. Bryce was once again late getting the throw off. Which pushes Renfrow further up the field since doesn’t get it out. Bryce being late and slow pulling the trigger fugs up a lot of the throws/plays. Bryce was late getting several throws off Sunday. At least per someone that played QB in the NFL.
