This be like the Lotulelei vs Short debate. Lotulelei didn't show up in the stat sheet much but he made that defense work and without him it went poorly Top of that, we play a 3-4. Brown plays DL and his job is to take up space and blockers, fill his lane and allow the edge behind him the space to make plays.

First: What do you think the word ‘scapegoating’ means? Because what I said was not scapegoating. They are two different players playing two different roles. I simply said two things about Burns, if I recall. One, basically he is a one dimensional player that is doing well because they have a very strong front in NY. Two, I was against paying his price because he is a liability against the run. One dimensional and therefore not worth it. Summing it up: he e is a pass rush specialist, about all I have ever felt about him, and his financial demands made him much less of a value. IMO.

He produced ten times more than brown does . Brown is known to be run stopper but rarely get tfls and don’t tell me he’s double teamed every play . I’m torn on this one. Not sure who we can attract. Getting a younger less experienced coach is probably our only choice, but then you also need to give them some time to develop. Not impressed with DC so far, but he just started his second year. What could he do with a different QB?
