No doubt you are right about who Dan and Dave refer to. Luke seemed pretty happy with not having having the team called ass. 2nd place schedule. Or lol even 1st possibly. Gonna be harder.
-
You would hope so. I’m confused why the sports world seems split on Bryce when he’s obviously not working out.
-
So let’s do the reverse? Make everyone agree everything he does is a disaster? I also think the whole “gaslighting” is on the eye of the beholder. It went from he can’t avoid one single sack countered with he actually did that well Sunday (with data backing it) to a little breakdown of why he is so bad. People are going to have different opinions. I’m also not going to pretend this wasn’t happening Day one with this little QB.
-
All this great stuff he has done, how often does he do it? I have it at three or four games out of 14 where he was very good and then you get a drive here or a series there where there are some good things. Here is the gaslight part: everyone has put him on a curve with his first year the baseline, neglecting to understand how bad he was then. Even if he comes back twice as good, where does that really leave him? 25th ranked or thereabouts. He had so far to go, and still does, it is a Major ‘settle’ to accept his play as worthy of giving him our future. You want to settle when the Bucs have Mayfield, and the Saints have overtaken us at QB? We will be third in the division at QB. That is good enough for y’all?
-
The defense that's near last in cap allocation and still keeps the team in the game every week. Sure.
-
Wasn’t good enough to tackle Tyler Shough once. I don’t pin the last one on him. The first one yeah, the last one was on the defense.
-
Fact is this is a .500 team without a QB. I'd say that supporting cast is good enough.
-
Vikings offense was 9th in scoring in 2024 and 25th this year. Seattle went from 18th last year to 3rd. It goes both ways. Darnold has done very well. He’s got 8000 yards, 66%+ completion and 59 TDs in 2 years with 2 games left. He’s contributed a lot. Ask Justin Jefferson if he misses Darnold and ask JSN if he’s happy with Darnold. I’d love to have Darnold.
-
Losing out would mean a total defensive collapse. I imagine it would be Evero who gets axed.

Coaches suck. Wrs suck. Oline sucks. Tes suck. Rinse repeat

I’ll be there live Tuesday. This one may end up being a game where 6 people per team are in the penalty box after the first 2 minutes.
-
Because we've been gaslit for 3 years by every little thing he does that isn't terrible. That's why. Its pretty simple.
-
Again I’m good if we move on. Mentioned it numerous times. The problem is anything positive is met with people freaking out. There is absolutely nothing we can do about it so just sit back and see what happens. We are allowed to mention if a player good or bad has a good game or did something well. I mean I will continue to do so and certain people are just going to have to accept it.
-
The refs man. They let Florida get away with anything. At some point someone needs to do the rest of us a favor and put one of the Panthers in the emergency room. That's whats gonna happen eventually.
-
Man, Florio and Simms are bleak on Tua. Just put Bryce’s name in every time they talk about Tua’s shortcomings and it is like reading this board. Or some of my posts lol. Why do they hate him so much? They are bad people!
-
I think all of us are. I don’t know what pissed me off more. The refs. The dirty play from the cats or Svech passing up an empty netter that would have sealed it. It was a true perfect storm of how to blow a 3-0 lead in the third.
-
That guy still would argue today he was totally right about Fitterer and all his other trainwreck stances. I still love his current stance that the horrific Saints backfield and a washed Kamara is basically the Panthers backfield lol.
-
The real trigger is when a bad starting QB is just flat out acknowledging as such and that we should view it as such as we plan forward……is meet by people defending Bryce for never ending pages/posts. THAT is unlike anything we ever seen. we should be able to say, yeah, we need to move on from that and then go about our business of talking the rest off the team, how to win today given what we have and talk about the future.

Panthers Fan 69 started following Canes vs Lightning 7pm
-
Last night went from cloud 9, best performance all year and domination to crap. 55 minutes of great hockey and the panthers started playing dirty. All Svech has to do is just shoot it vs getting fancy on an empty net. Trying to injure players, refs missing calls, alas we still got a point. Hopefully Jarvis is not out super long. I’m sure receipts are coming Tuesday. Until then, we have the Lightning. Get up on the horse and keep playing. Keep the points streak alive to 7.
-
If it’s all the same to you guys, I’d like to use this thread for Tuesday nights game as well to keep this hate going. I have a feeling Tuesday vs the panthers is going to be violent in that arena. @LinvilleGorgecan you please add “and Tuesday” to the game thread? They play the Panthers again Tuesday. Thank you sir!

Nobody on the huddle is saying we have an elite group offensively across the board. They aren't great. They're young. If you are expecting someone to agree with your position of blaming everyone around Bryce Young nearly three full seasons into his career you are going to be left holding the bag save for a handful of people who act like they are paid to defend his honor. Bryce Young is not a guy who has had to claw and fight his way into starting jobs in football. He's had the best to work with and been gifted roles since he was a teenager. The Panthers have one of the youngest rosters in the league and with us needing an infusion of young defensive talent in the upcoming draft we're only going to get younger. We need a QB who possesses the ability to elevate those around him. If you can't agree with me on that then there's nothing further to discuss.
