Miami won those games in large part because they had Cam Ward. Their defense was complete ass. If it hasn't improved majorly they're not going to be able to just outscore everyone with Beck playing the role of Ward.

I like him, he's from here in Greensboro, never really got the chance because of injury at end of senior year and then was sitting behind a suddenly and impressively reinvigorated Goff. Practice squad signing here is a really good move. Maybe he can grow into the roll a bit more and take over back-up QB duties after Dalton hangs up the cleats. If not, maybe he can just be a really good player to run practice drills here. Either way, a good kid gets to keep living the dream for a while longer and get a paycheck. I've got no problem with that!

Yeah I grew up in Charlotte, and that had overlaps with Braves, Orioles, Nats, and I think Cincinnati at the time. Because you could subscribe to the Reds network with the cable package back then. It was a nightmare for MLB.TV owners cause half the games were blacked out and you don't even have a local team. I drove up to see a game at Camden Yards for the first time, and it took like 8 hours. It seems insane we're in the market.

Auburn is a basketball school that wastes its money on football ineptitude, but they do have an excellent WR corps this season. That'll definitely help. I don't see them ever beating Alabama again, though. Six wins should be their goal this year. Anything more is not very realistic. They're two years away from being three years away. Miami is always hyped up too much, but it's more justified this year. They won 10 games last year and were a Cam Ward business decision away from 11 wins. Beck is a good QB and the pieces are there for an ACC Championship Game appearance, but they'll fall a bit short due in part to a questionable defense and Cristobal's patented late-game coaching gaffes. If App State doesn't beat UNCC, that's an awful look on their staff.

Yeah rough year for the Braves. I'm in the Wilmington area now and we're not in the Braves market. So I have to buy MLB.TV to watch them. I end up watching about 15 teams as a result Only thing that sucks is its Nats and Orioles market. So I have to subscribe to MASN just to watch the Braves divisional games against the Nats. Not doing that.

I pay for Prime annually so I get a separate monthly charge to my credit card for FD. FD With tax, is $21.39. So far after multiple Braves games watched no glitches. other than the Braves lost 19-4 last night haha.

Carson Beck is honestly pretty much ass. Put him on some borderline top 25 team and I honestly don't remember think he's draftable. But he did the smart thing. He hit the portal and got him a big ass NIL bag. That's what Ewers should've done too. Those guys are good enough to get big NIL money but probably aren't good enough for the NIL so go get you $$$ while the gettin's good.

I got no probs with this trade. we did a vet a solid, this will not go unnoticed by other players in the league we got something for a guy that was retiring after the end of the season we knocked BY9 off his crutch, sink or swim for him now for sure our young guys getting the reps they need

Started the trend of quitting on your teammates before a Bowl Game. Sandbagged it with the Panthers when he realised we weren't winning poo - loads of soft tissue injuries to keep him out of games. Eventually we had to trade him.
