The NHL used to seed the playoffs by 1-8 in the points rankings for each conference. Now they are seeded in a way where you play out of your division in the bracket. We play in the weakest division in the NHL.

Well I don’t follow all the other teams, so I can’t argue on how much better they are.. I just know we the Canes did great and overcame so tough games until now.. as far as reseeding the NFL said no.. so should the NHL.. this isn’t the NBA

Personally I’d give him one more chance with a loaded roster. This year it felt like we were playing with a fringe first line, a third line, and two fourth lines. We definitely overachieved and I think the reason we are disappointed is because the end result is the same but we weren’t supposed to be here. I’d give Rod one more go before moving on.

I think Rod is just extremely loyal with some folks. Not sure why. I have seen the same across many sports. It’s not working but they just keep doing it like it will work all of the sudden. It never does.

There can't be any winners for the Hurricanes or fans when they've been outscored 16-4 in three games. That means Rod's teams have now been outscored by 42-15 in 11 conference finals games.

The defense was trash prior to playoffs and completely got exposed against a good team. The Devils were trash but no way we were going to Stanley Cup.
