I'm not worried about his age; more mature in my book. This whole thing about being a year or two older than the average draftee matters none to me. His pass blocking is top notch. That's what you want from your blindside tackle. Run blocking can be refined more easily than vise-versa. Pass protection has a lot more nuances and technique to get correct to be efficient over run blocking. My thought is if Ickey can make it back, great, but I'm not betting the future of the team on it since LT is arguably the second most important position on a football team besides QB. Also, I want to draft our LT this year to get a season under his belt so he can protect our rookie QB in '27.

Young LT with lots of upside, wirey Edge guy, proven center, feisty corner, stout IDL, ball-hawking safety, sideline-to-sideline LB, productive all-purpose RB, off-ball tackling machine LB and slot WR that's a mismatch threat. I'd be elated with that draft!

He's gonna be an older rookie at 24 years old. Some guys just don't carry weight well. I don't think you draft this guy expecting him to play much heavier. Just comes down to whether you want lighter more agile OL or maulers. We seem to prefer the mauling type.

He's got the frame to add weight. It's easier to get a guy to add 10-15 pounds than tell a big guy to go on a diet.

Not sure how high we'll be on Lomu to be honest. We seem to prefer big maulers on the OL and Lomu is really light for a modern NFL OT. He's listed barely over 300.

13-8 over the last 21 with 6 straight wins. Last 10 the team is 8-2.

I don't know most of those players but positionally I like that. I want to take a QB somewhere rounds 3-5 and would consider one in the second though.

They are up there. Knicks, Clippers and Pistons all playing really well lately. If this team stay healthy, they will easily jump the Bulls and Hawks. The Heat are banged up, so could catch them as well. Don't think we'll catch Orlando for 7th, assuming Wagner isn't out for extended time. If this team doesn't make the playoffs this year it will never happen under Charles Lee.

Caps goalie situation is in shambles right now. Their main guy is out and I believe they are starting an AHL guy tonight.

Huge win, I’m completely sold on this team and this core. Kon and Diabate were the last missing pieces along with Miller/Ball health. The defense has improved significantly and the offense is playing amazing team basketball. Had some passing plays that looked like prime Warriors dynasty or Pop Spurs out there which is just so damn fun to watch. Unselfish team basketball. This Hornets season feels a lot like the Hurricanes’ 2018-19 season when they broke a decade long playoff drought. Started the season horribly but went on a run the rest of the season like this January for the Hornets. Haven’t missed the playoffs since then and have won at least a round every year. Hopefully Hornets can follow that same trajectory man.
