  1. I don’t think alternating series between Rico and Chiba is that bad of an idea.
  2. Mark will probably be getting a new nickname soon. It's probably going to be dirty.
  3. Single handedly? I voted 3 or 4 times. Way to forget the little people
  4. No, you don't need seven years of suffering. You need competence. Then things fall into place relatively quickly. Some people have standards higher than "let's not suck, but just barely." Believe it or not, some teams have winning seasons regularly. It is possible.
  5. We have arrived. People want Foxball because .500 is better than .300. You've seen how many people on here pine for Steve Wilks like a .500 record is something to strive for.
  6. I've said it before. This is the first time since college that he's had the same coach/scheme two years in a row. He's going to continue to improve. You gotta pay him.
  7. The upcoming draft will determine whether or not he learned anything from 2024.
  8. You’ll take it and like it
  9. Very true. Hurney was awful. He was just as bad as Fitterer, he just had such an unwarranted long tenure that people just remember his first round "home runs." Guess who else has a stellar first round history? Me. And I'm an idiot. Huddlers loved Hurney because he overpayed fan favorites and would never move on from any likeable player. Everyone loved his drafts because, "Hey, we need 2 DTs, a safety, and a WR" and he would draft them in precisely that order. It was not until 2 seasons after the fact that none of his picks were still in the league except his vaunted 1st rounder. "He gambled on Keuchley at 7! What a genius!" Yeah, ok.
  10. Gettleman drafted McCaffrey. But yeah, Hurney was pretty good at doing the easiest part of a GM job
  11. The huddle reaches a new low. The team is so bad that the opponents fan alts have to troll our favorite announcer
  12. Was he Hurn-dogg's final parting gift to us? I'll give credit where it's due, Hurney was too dumb to overthink those top ten picks.
  13. Yeah, but he had a reliable WR in Thielan his first two years, and T-Mac this year. Not a stellar group, but he was billed as "a point guard that distributes the ball well." He hasn't been. Even our dipshit owner said having Bryce would save us from having to spend resources on WR. If you've got a good QB and good OL, you usually can get by with a mediocre WR corps, but we have Turnover Fred.
  14. Yeah, I thought he was added after that draft.
  15. I think Dan gets another year. Outside of rounds one and two of last year’s draft, he’s done some decent things. A roster as lacking in talent as ours cannot afford to whiff in the first two rounds. It seems like he learned something. I hope so, anyway
  16. I’m not saying anything bad about T-Mac, I’m saying you saw what happened in the first quarter when the ball was in Bryce’s hands. You should have just made a thread saying T-Mac should be Bryce’s first read when he’s in single man coverage instead of criticizing a game plan and RB that resulted in a win.
  17. Do good franchises get excited over trying to force feed a single WR resulting in fumbles, drops, and INTs, because it might result in said WRs super fan thinking it’s improvement?
  18. Dude is awesome. God forbid anybody shows some excitement. Enthusiastic guys are always going to get hate from miserable, angry bastards. When he shows some objectivity and acts excited over a Saints play is when everyone will turn on him and hate him.
  19. Brandt Tillis is the difference between last year’s draft and this one.
  20. yeah, it'll literally only take one positive yard for him to be "better." lol
  21. If this draft class turns out to be decent. Dan should get canned and Tillis promoted. (since no real GMs would be likely to interview here.)
