  1. No point shaving. Darnold held onto the ball way too long and he admitted it. Rams need some credit for playing as well as they did, though.
  2. I appreciate your offer of an olive branch and I respect your opinions as well. With him, though, he has to have the last word in every discussion and has to be the smartest person in the room. I’m closer to the 100th person to point it out than the first. When he isn’t, he starts projecting so much he may as well be an IMAX theatre. I have no issue with dropping a subject, but the most condescending, thin-skinned hypocrite on here needs to get checked if he’s gonna go around calling others thin-skinned or hypocritical. It stemmed from me finding some condescending, poor opinions he posted about Darnold (could do the same thing for Mayfield or Young with a five-second Google search) and he got really, really triggered about it, and that persists after several weeks. No one else I spotlighted even cared.
  3. Hold on a minute — you started quoting me incessantly when you got mad I found your ignorant old posts… but I’m the thin-skinned one? Projecting, much?
  4. I’m seriously curious how he sucked in the second half of the season. That’s some epic copium.
  5. That’s always been Darnold’s weakness. He doesn’t take a checkdown for 5 yards, because of the minute chance he could get 30 yards. So he holds onto the ball and it bit him big-time against a defense that wouldn’t allow anything. So, @frankw, since we’ve apparently decided it’s cool to quote me all the time, here’s one back for ya: If you’re this upset over me pointing out your “bust” takes in 2021 over Darnold weeks ago, somehow attributing that to me being a Darnold fan despite three weeks of my proving to you the purpose and result of such an exercise… You’d take Bryce Young over Justin Herbert then, right? Because Justin Herbert put up big numbers in the regular season and folded historically in the Wild Card round. Since, @frankw, that apparently makes a player trash — or, at least worthy of quoting me every negative play — @frankw, tell us you’d rather have Bryce Young than Justin Herbert. Because that’s following the logic you’ve applied to this discussion, @frankw.
  6. No one breathed a bigger sigh of relief than JJ McCarthy. His spot's safe at least for now.
  7. Darnold was sacked nine times, missed important throws and his defense couldn't get timely stops. That's a bad game for any QB -- unless they have a red, white and blue bull's head on a navy helmet.
  8. Damn dude, just ask me out if you're this obsessed with me.
  9. I guess we've made progress from "Bryce can't even attempt a 10-yard pass, let alone complete it" to "Bryce barely scored 40 points on the Falcons".
  10. I was at that game too. Side note, the only time I've ever gotten into it with a fan at BoA was with a drunk Panthers fan, as it were.
  11. We don't know what Bryce Young's going to be yet. Different samples have yielded wildly different results. So let's not guess top-10, top-20 or out of the NFL.
  12. The NFL's rules have never applied to Brady before. Why start now?
  13. To play devil’s advocate here, he was literally a top-20 QB this year in terms of QBR (and posted above a 100 QB rating the last three games of the season), so saying he’d never reach top-20 is a bit disingenuous. Top-10’s a stretch, but he’s already top-20 among most anyone’s list.
  14. It comes and goes. I won seven bets in a row November and December. Then, thanks to the Patriots ML I took before the Bills announced they were resting starters, my Week 18 wasn't a total disaster.
  15. If anyone watches soccer, this afternoon's Manchester United/Arsenal match was also bullshit, but Arsenal didn't ultimately benefit from the litany of undeserved calls they got. And I have no interest in either team in that one, either.
  16. Do not trade another Day 1 or Day 2 draft pick again. Ever. This team is 0-for-infinity doing that.
  17. Like a Bryan Harsin vs. Lane Kiffin matchup, I'll root for the asteroid.
  18. I respect Baker's talent and wanted him to do well here even though he had approximately 1.25 good/non-bad games, but I can't support the Bucs winning. Now that I think of it though, the Redskins won 40-7 against the Panthers earlier this year and I can't support them going far for that reason.
  19. Loser teams sign players to futures contracts. Teams that play 4D chess are signing players to pasts contracts. Put that Hubbard contract against the salary cap in 2002.
  20. Fair but nothing would make me root for a rival NFC South team. I'd rather lose the bet lol
  21. I don't root for any team that's still in the playoffs, but I'd put the Vikings and Redskins above the others. I'd be happy for Minnesota to win and I don't mind the Redskins winning.
