He said something about his weight dropping from eating better, are we sure he intentionally gained or lost weight?

Attention Seeking, Nostalgic Pining, & Daily Grievances (In Here)

There is no NFL in the draft, it's individual teams. If one thought he'd improve their team, they'd take him, not send some kind of alleged message.

Moving on to the 2nd round discussion

I'm somewhat enjoying it. I don't have any real issues with Shedeur although the reports from his interviews weren't great. But I've thought Deion was an ass for three decades now and it's pretty satisfying to see him realize that him running his big mouth has hurt this situation. -

I'd use our third to move up in the second and then package the fourths to get back in the third. -
Not the main reason for him dropping, but Deion running his big mouth did not help Shedeur at all.

Can't tell if it's narrow shoulders or wide hips.

For real they could take a little more time on some of those picks, show some highlights and all.

Chris Simms: Jalon Walker is the most overrated player in the draft
Sup replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
He isn't a perfect fit at any one position but the reason people are high on Walker is he might be the best football player in the draft. He'll make an impact on way or another. -
Depends on how much they like Sanders. If he isn't the guy, wait a year and build elsewhere.

God forbid this is the way the Draft shakes out

That is my concern too. I'm not sold on the edge group after Carter and Walker, would rather wait until the second round for edge in that scenario. -

I said Warren but I totally could live with this too. BPA, and I don't think it's Williams or Shemar or any other defensive player in this scenario. -

Warren. -
If Carter falls past 3 or 4 do you pick up the phone?

For 10 plus sacks a game he's worth our next four drafts. -
Being less fat than Benjamin seems like a good thing.

This is such a smart post, it sums up the situation well. I had some thoughts along these lines but this laid it out really clearly.

As others have said, hell no. Obviously some cause for optimism but I'll honestly be more surprised if he plays better next year than if he regresses again.
-
It would be foolish to say there aren't real positives from the end of the season but overall the level of optimism here is too high. A bunch of extremely mid games that only felt good because of how disastrous he was before, then a couple good/very good games against questionable defenses. I at least now think he COULD be a real NFL quarterback, which I didn't before, but I'm not sold yet.
