  1. Here I did a ton of trades because the draft was not going well. Downs boosts our weak WR corps. Williams can come in and start at CB. Then I started moving down so that I didn't overdraft Nick Herbig. I like Nick to be our OLB, but at the right draft price. Next was Brooks who is a developmental guy who might be able to play DE.... maybe. The rest is depth.
  2. B.J to OLB. Turner starts until Jackson returns in week 3 or so. Karl Brooks will need to bulk up some, learn, and then he will play DE.
  3. Jackson will not be ready to start the 2023 season imo. We need a CB who can take place until he is ready to play in October imo, so I took Kelly. I do not trust Henderson in a major role in the secondary.
  4. By taking Mayer here we all but ensure that we'll have a top TE on the field throughout the season. If Hayden does down, we still have Mayer, and that is critical for a rookie QB. The TE is his safety net in many ways. Perry is much needed talent added to a worrisome WR corps. Roy to DE. Nick to OLB.
  5. The two headed monster returns, and just in time to help our rookie QB. Mazi Smith goes to NT, and Brown movies out to DE.
  6. Calijah to DE. Cox to OLB. The rest is obvious.
  7. Why Kuntz? Think about this for a second. I think the Panthers are going to throw to Hayden Hurst so many times that's he's going to get beaten all to hell. He might end up being most of our offense, and he's going to be 30. This dude is in for a beating imo. Kuntz can sit for a while and learn and hit the weight room, and when Hayden inevitably goes down we don't send in Ian, we have Kuntz.
  8. We can't fix everything. If we go offense then the defense is short changed. If we go defense, then the offense might be spooky bad. We've lost CMC and DJ, and the free agents we brought in are not equivalent to our losses by any stretch of the imagination. We're basically the weakest offensive team weapon wise in the the NFCS and it's not even close. I had to take Zay here. If a WR slips down we have to take them. Fitt is not bringing in a good #1 WR unless a miracle happens. The rest of the draft is a scramble to get the budget version of what we need on defense.
  9. The monstrosity is constructed. Clearly we won't have all these picks but that is the simulators fault. Mazi will play NT. Drew to OLB. Gibbs gives us a two headed monster like the old days. Henley to back up Shaq. Mims for depth. Garner in case there is injury trouble at CB (there will be.)
  10. Had they demanded Burns instead of DJ I think we'd be picking 9th. Fitt is not trading that dude. j/k
  11. Simpson to OLB. I did not take a DE here because Fitt signed DeShawn Williams play DE for us, so I have an option not to take a DE to start. I don't really like DeShawn but it's Fitt. He doesn't sign players I like.
  12. I will say that mock draft database is completely insane, but it's all in good fun.
  13. Bresee to DE. Gibbs gives us a two headed monster. D.J is CB who runs a 4.3 40. Noah backs up Shaq. 3 weapons and depth round out the draft.
  14. Here the simulator offered me a ton of trades and I took them. Bijan gives us a two headed monster. Downs and Tillman give us much needed weapons at WR. Jack backs up Shaq. Andre goes to OLB. Zacch to DE. And a CB of course. Kuntz is a late round fav of mine. Siaka is a big fat NT to back up Brown, or if we want to get REALLY big, Brown can kick out to DE, and Sieka can play NT.
  15. Here I went with offensive firepower. Zay and Luke would both see the field a lot, and protect us from our older players going down with injury and not having an answer. Zaach to DE, and Luvu will play the other OLB spot for this season.
  16. Here Simpson will play OLB, and Pickens will be a DE. Henry gives up depth in the middle, and Kuntz is a freak at almost 6-8 with great speed.
  17. I this scenario Bresee would be a DE, and Carter would be OLB. Imagine Breese and Brown going to work on opposing o-lines. Yikes.
  18. Yeah I believe that. They're going with intelligence over athleticism and arm strength.
