Mr. Richardson did flex muscles regarding Hardy
hepcat replied to dswofford's topic in Carolina Panthers
Some decisions go beyond football. You stupid fanboys don't understand that -
I think we'll either see the offense explode next year or it's going to implode and Shula could be fired mid-season. No doubt with a healthy Stewart and an upgrade at WR #2 to go with Olsen and Benjamin, the offense could be very good. But at the same time it's Mike Shula running the show so we could four verticals on a 3rd and 1.

I like the posters that inform me about cheap, high quality jerseys.

Alan "Blue Balls" Ball leaves Panther offer on table
hepcat replied to CubsWin's topic in Carolina Panthers
For a guy that has spent a good chunk of his career on crummy teams you'd think he'd jump at the chance to play for a team that has won back to back division titles and is the easy favorite to win it again. -
Gotta keep your wits about you in the licker room

After he stopped running on that route in the Arizona playoff game and caused an INT I was like...yea...we can do better...

Signing Jennings would probably mean curtains for Cotchery in Carolina.

"Why the 49ers should move all in for Luke Kuechly in 2016"

"Why the 49ers should move all in for Luke Kuechly in 2016"

Because there are some "fans" that honestly think we should trade away one of the best defensive players in the NFL, a potential HOF talent who is only 23. This thread should be locked I agree. Nonsense from a desperate 49ers fan that gets posted here, absolute garbage. Worse than Bleacher Report. -

The Panthers have 70 million dollars in cap space in 2016. Kuechly isn't going anywhere. -

Kuechly is a HOF-caliber talent. Do you not remember what the defense was like before he was starting at MLB? You don't get rid of a player like him. It's like trading away Tom Brady. -

Cowboys in negotiations with Greg Hardy?
hepcat replied to UNCrules2187's topic in Carolina Panthers
Alexander is also still on his rookie contract. Hardy would still be on the roster if he was on his, too. What's your point here? It's about taking on a NEW player with baggage, not keeping one that's already under contract. -

At this point Hardy is probably looking at a 1yr deal that won't break the bank. No team wants to spend a bunch of money on a player with the kind of baggage he has. Especially after the Ray Rice fiasco. Rice's career looks like it's over, and Hardy is struggling to find a new home. He's too talented not to sign somewhere but no one is "backing up the Brinks truck" like he said after the 2013 season. -
He seems to be running out of options honestly. The Raiders made it clear they aren't purusing Hardy, straight from owner Mark Davis's mouth. http://espn.go.com/blog/afcwest/post/_/id/70685/greg-hardy-to-raiders-doesnt-look-like-it The Jaguars state they aren't interested http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/id/164245/jaguars-unlikely-to-pursue-greg-hardy The 49ers, Falcons, and a few other teams have stated they aren't interested. Hardy might have trouble finding a home. He will definitely be on a roster - he's too talented not to be, but it might be a one year "prove it" deal, ala Dave Gettleman, albeit not in Carolina. I thought the Bengals were a solid landing spot for him given their track record of signing talented players with off-field issues and turning their careers around, but they brought back Michael Johnson so that seems unlikely now. I think Tampa Bay is still a strong consideration. Or we might see a huge surprise and see someone like the Bears sign him. He did play for John Fox for a year...

Good for him. Definitely worth a flex spot the first 2-4 weeks of the season since Bell is likely to be suspended.

Look what the Panthers did! We blew out both our biggest division rivals in their domes and one fired their coach and the other is blowing up their team. What a great day to be a Panthers fan!!- 133 replies

Gettleman: Oher can be answer at left tackle
hepcat replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
I mean all he's saying is he'll get a chance to start. He'll probably go into training camp as the starter, which he should since he's got a lot of starting experience. Still no doubt in my mind they'll spend a high draft pick on a tackle. -
I can't believe a thread about a possible visit for a 5th string WR/special teams player has 378 posts and counting
