  1. At least we have a 2nd round pick since Fitterer fittered ours away
  2. So the ravens moved down a couple picks for a whole 6 yards Did the panthers actually win a trade?!?!?
  3. Progress isn't linear. I'm sure all the level headed huddlers know this. This was a big step back. No doubt. We had bad Bryce the first 2 games. Then good Bryce. Then bad Bryce showed up last game. Now imo the next few games will define his career. Will he brush this off and rise up? Or will he crumble and revert to bust Bryce. Honestly it's 50/50 to me right now
  4. The good: Coker continues to impress, didn't hurt our draft position The bad: run game was nonexistent and abandoned early The ugly: everything, just everything else. The d was putrid again as Cooper f'ing rush threw 3 tds and we had yet another rb go over 100, xl pulled a houdini and vanished, the o line played bad, bad Bryce showed up and nuked any momentum we got with costly turnovers The next game will be telling. Will Bryce bounce back or will he fall back into his bad habits
  5. Basing qbs on the wins of a team where there are 52 other players is a tad ludicrous imo. Hell the last 3 games we lost were bc of a x drop, a Hubbard fumble, and the terrible d. Stroud is still better right now. But he has also had Dell, Schultz, nico and Diggs to catch his passes and they'd all be #1 on our current team. And their d >>>> panthers d But Bryce is getting better and the player he is now is 10 times better than the Bryce of week 1 and 2
  6. I might be in the minority but I'd be happy if both young and stroud succeed. Last year it looked like we missed bad when we picked young over stroud. Which hurt. But now they're both showing future promise even tho stroud is stumbling a bit. Stroud being bad doesn't make the trade better to me. Young being good does. I would love it if they both become legit nfl qbs forever tied together by the draft and dueling for years to come. Hoping stroud sucks and the anger that comes with is not worth it. Thats the path to the dark side.
  7. Then he needs to work out with Bryce after practice, before practice, on madden, in his dreams. Get that timing and concentration down Not every ball will be perfectly thrown in the breadbasket. Thats why he gets paid millions to catch balls. Now he needs to catch them But I do have some optimism he has the work ethic to work it out
  8. Agreed. He is no shape or form a top 5 or even top 10 qb right now. But he is now IMHO a legit starter, he's improving, and his weapons right now are not that good. He still has room for growth but I do see more Bama Bryce coming out. Last year I was happy with young or stroud. I didn't want ar and I really didn't want Levi's. Stroud obviously lit it up but I'm rooting for our young guy, would love to see him succeed and if he continues to put it together and our weapons improve he can be a top 10 qb.
  9. I think the proof is in the pudding. We are getting better. So the meddling has indeed stopped. For now.
  10. It's always darkest before the dawn But culture and camaraderie can't be underestimated. I dunno how many dream teams, big free agent signees, and just totally loaded teams ive seen completely implode bc of the clash of personalities and lack of of buy in and leadership talent is great but leadership is just as important
  11. On the plus side his route running has improved and he's getting open. But his catching still rates as atrocious
  12. Exactly. I don't think hunter or tmac will be available at 32... ( I don't think were mathematically eliminated yet)
  13. And if our pass catcher x learns how to catch passes
  14. As long as we stay away from offensive skill players in the 2nd were good. But draft another wr or rb in the 2nd and you might as well immediately write them off
  15. I am hopeful x will turn it around. He has one glaring negative and since it is his hands it is a doozy. But he has worked on his route running, he has some speed and he has been getting open. Hands are fixable ( see Hubbard, chuba) but he has to put in the work. if he actually starts catching the ball and works on his physicality I do legitimately think he can be an 1,100 and 8 td wr. Brooks... sigh. I feel bad for the kid and it's not his fault but I do wish he was the cowboys problem not ours.
  16. So I guess atl, Seattle and minny have their Franchise qbs and phi and the chargers dont
  17. Brutal injury and I feel for the kid . But I agree with the others that this was a luxury pick from the start. I get what Morgan was trying to do but it was so far a swing and miss. I'm all for adding a late rounder rb maybe with a 5th but no more early picks on rb. Hopefully he comes back with a vengeance. But I'm feeling pessimistic on this front. Football is a brutal sport
