that was an ugly game, but it was good to see Richards improving. Next up is Lakers Sun night at 9:30

Sorry, I meant Taylor.

Henderson looks like a solid find in the mid-rounds...we took him not because of need but because he was BPA and we were surprised to see him last so late. He looked good when forced into action due to injuries last year. I think Horn is going to be an Pro Bowler if he can stay healthy. A non contact injury is concerning, but he looks the real deal, and when all is said and done, he may be the best corner in Panthers history. The cornerback group is our strongest area in our defense...we are talented, athletic, deep and young. I really think Horn being back shuts down his area of the field, which will help our front 7 a lot.

that man really, really wants to know if we are feelin him.

Baker Mayfield is a Carolina Panther

I don't think I've seen a pro athlete agree to give up 3 mill guaranteed to make a trade work. He must hate Cleveland. -
first game is this Friday at 6 pm, on ESPN 2

hoping we hear something soon about this...getting really nervous.

Adrian Wojnarowski @wojespn · 31s The Pistons are sending the Hornets the 2025 first-round pick via Milwaukee in the Duren trade, sources tell ESPN. Detroit got that pick from Portland in the Jerami Grant deal yesterday.

to get someone to also take Gordon Heyward and his contract so we can sign Miles.
-
has to be. So we should get Griffen or Williams.
-
what if we took Williams and then got Duren? We could get our guy and then get rid of Gordon if Duren lasts one more pick.
-
we are on the clock....Duren and Williams available. Bilas says Duren is best available but Griffen is best fit.
-
OKC pick is in
-
Duren and Williams both still on the board.
-
a good number of mocks had us taking Sochan. He goes at 9.
-
I can't handle that. will find a draft tracker and tune in when it gets to our pick.

Is something really interesting going to happen? Will we keep both picks? We'll know in the next couple of hours. israel @iohandles · 7h Every report/rumor has been the absolute worse outcome for Charlotte. - We’re trading for Westbrook - We’re hiring Steve Clifford - We don’t want to pay Miles Bridges - We’re trading Hayward and 15 for nothing but cap space Lotta lying going on

some Panthers notes and updates in this article

is Nixon the only one not expected to be ready for camp? That's pretty good if so. -
https://www.profootballrumors.com/ tldr The Panthers are on the lookout for a veteran edge rusher, but the team has plans for the recently extended Frankie Luvu. The fifth-year linebacker is on a new Carolina deal because the coaching staff believes he can contribute on the edge, according to Newton. In his first Panthers season, Luvu started four games but worked mostly as a backup. Among players who saw the bulk of their snaps as off-ball linebackers, Luvu graded as Pro Football Focus’ No. 2-ranked pass rusher — behind only Micah Parsons — last season. Granted, this came on just 249 snaps and produced just 1.5 sacks, but the American Samoa native earned a two-year, $9MM deal to stay. Panthers defensive lineman Daviyon Nixon is not expected to be full-go when training camp starts, Joe Person of The Athletic notes (subscription required). The former Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year-turned-Carolina fifth-rounder is still recovering from the knee injury that ended his rookie season. With Matt Ioannidis in the fold alongside Derrick Brown, Nixon is in line to be a rotational presence in his second season. also notes after Saints Penning may not be ready to start... "it does not appear he has seized the job for which he’s ultimately ticketed just yet. If Penning is on the bench to start the season, swingman James Hurst would be in line to get the call."

when's the last time a college coach moved up and did well? Don't think it happens very often.
