won't be happy about this till we see the money, and he owes us a break after all we paid him while injured. it is good news to see the entire line coming back. Now only OL need is RT.

Former Panthers’ LB Jarod Mayo Retires
Captain Morgan replied to Prowler2k18's topic in Carolina Panthers
Ron called him Luke 2.0 He didn't have a real good grasp of that works -
need a RT. hope we can find one in the 3rd to learn behind Moton this year and then take over. But Moton has been dealing with injuries for a while, so I hope we get one before the 4th. So many damn needs, but OL has to remain a strength
-
I don't know how good he is, but we do have 2 very good guards to help him. And with so many holes, this seems like a good move. Would still rather draft a C in the 4th or 5th to compete with him
-
what is great about this draft is having 2 4ths and 3 5ths. Even with us so devoid of talent, we'd be extremely lucky to find a starter with one of those picks but Canales can get a bunch of his guys on the team and start building a culture. We should have some really good depth over the next 4 years, particularly in years 3 and 4. With 5 picks in 4 and 5, we can lay the framework. I'm feeling good if we draft well.

I saw two different sources on reddit today ...the high school teammate is concerning...other guy may be going for clicks. Eagles have less cap than we do this year. The year after however, Eagles have the 5th lowest cap, 46 mill. In 2026 we have the 7th most, just under 150 mill. We can shop with just about anyone

David Newton getting too close to our players?

the personal problems is something that would have to be checked out, but I'd do it. That's how we got Greg Olsen. He was a first round pick and we traded a 3rd for him a couple of years later. He became our best TE ever
-
I'm in love with Emmanwori...just don't think he'll be there at our late 2nd. He is playmaker, which is what we need. Getting Jalon in the first and Nick in the 2nd would have a huge impact on our defense Mike Kaye @mike_e_kaye · 28m Nick Emmanwori is an #athlete and a half. Damn. 4.38 second 40 at 6-3 and 220 lbs. His 11'6" broad is elite. UPDATE: He had a 43-inch vert.

I remember when Jordan sent a broom to Cam after they swept us, but I've always had mad respect for him as a player. Liked what he said about Adam and Bryce though. Seems like a good guy. Saints got lucky with him.

coverage of the combine starts tomorrow on NFL Net. Jalon will not work out. other nuggets here...Mykel Williams played hurt all year. Shemar Stuart models his game after Julius Peppers. Mike Green notes he was never charged in the 2 incidents that have him teams asking about. Abdul is training with Micah Parsons. https://www.panthers.com/news/combine-notebook-julius-peppers-thomas-davis-abdul-carter-mike-green

Joe Person: Projecting moves based on vibes
Captain Morgan replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'm still concerned about Mays. He looks good in between the two guards we paid for. If we bring Corbett back it better be for cheap. We gave him a lot of money, and he missed a lot of games to injury. Not his fault, but if he's not cheap let him go. We have 2 4ths and 3 5ths in the draft. Spend one on a center and let them compete. It buys us time while we prepare for Hunt's next contract, with us or someone else. -
Abdul Carter will not work out this week due to an injury he suffered in the Penn State game. He is expected to be ok for his pro day. Defensive linemen and linebacks began team meetings today.
