  1. This will normally work about 4% of the time in the real world. Smart women don't hang out long with dudes who say "money aint no thang", and don't worry about cashflow.
  2. Ouch, and out of state? No thank you. If you are going to rack up big time college debt, at least get a degree that will get you a job.
  3. And again, instead of laying out a plan, and explaining it in full detail, you just bitch. You do what your are.
  4. Just thought about it the other day...I've been doing this for 11 years now. Got into it waiting on a job opening in an entirely different field, and enjoyed it. Has certainly changed my life's path, mostly for the better.
  5. My fear is you leaving a job, and becoming self employed. Lenders are really really tough on self employed folks these days. If you can stick with your job, until you find something and close, it will be much easier. Unless you are already an independent contractor, then it won't really matter. Strongly suggest going to a bank first.
  6. You are looking at a very specialized type of property, and an "unusual" type of income. I would go sit down with your credit union or bank and have them tell you what you can afford, and go ahead and go through underwriting if possible. There are a billion questions I have for you, but if you want some help, DM me and I will get you my number. You do need some help, and a really good realtor. As to what you should or shouldn't say, unless the realtor is the same one listing the property, be honest and open about everything.
  7. Re-read my post. I said ride out this year, not his full contract. He is under contract through 2016, Norman is under contract through 2015. Yes Norman is a bigger fish to fry at this moment. If Big Money, is still playing like big money, then extend him after this season. No need to do anything this offseason with him.
  8. I'm in the camp of leaving Big Money ride this out. He is under contract for 2 more seasons, and next years cap hit (when it matters) is only 15M. Sounds high, but his dead money if something were to happen, or he doesn't produce, is only 4M. Let it ride out this season, and if he seems like he needs an extension after this season, so be it. But we have bigger fish to fry with Norman, Cam, and Luke.
  9. Don't own a pair of jeans, and haven't since elementary school. That said, I usually wear khaki pants 2-4 times, depending on what I get into before washing them.
  10. When you have only 1 team willing to sign one of the best, young, 43 DE's to hit FA in quite some time...it says a lot about the player in question's background. Personally, I'm very skeptical about how everything went down, but that doesn't change the fact that he was messing with her, had more than enough guns in his house to start a coup, and did some things after the ruling came down that the owner of the team didn't appreciate. When the Bengals, Jets, Raiders, Browns, Jags, etc...didn't look into him hard, that was all I needed to know. There is more to it, and most owners were scared of the backlash.
  11. ST player that can jam at the line and play big WR's? Yes please. I'm looking at you Tampa Bay.
  12. If the knee looks good I'm OK with taking a flyer on this guy. Give him a little guaranteed money this year, with almost none next season on a 2 year contract and roll the dice. And I'm never in favor of these type moves.
  13. Agreed. I have always thought that while good, he was really overrated. He had some stiff competition with the Ravens, Steelers, Pats, and Chargers out of the AFC then though.
  14. Good pick up for them. Rivers will make him better. Far as I can tell it would be the best QB he's ever played with.
  15. Weren't you just asking who would throw their QB out there with rookies? Are you female, or just young?
  16. I'm comparing rookie years for god's sake. Many of you say he's always had to do more with less, Cam's rookie year skill players were pretty damn good, much better than Luck's.
  17. Shockey and Olsen: 995 and 9 TD's Fleener and Allen: 628 and 5 TD's TY: 861 and 7 LaFell: 613 and 3
  18. That post is about the "Cam has always done more with less" lie that many of you fanboys throw around. And yes, I would say that Cam is in a better position long term than Luck is. I feel much better about the way this team is drafting and heading than I do the Colts. But that's because I'm not a 17 year old.
  19. What the hell does that have to do with the stupid argument that "Cam has ALWAYS had to do more with less"? Cam had better skill players his rookie season than Luck, and by a long shot. Wasn't it you who was just asking who in the World would have their QB's depending on a rookie WR? What about 2 rookie TE's, a terrible RB, a rookie WR, and Wayne? Compared to two of the better TE's in the league, two Pro Bowl RB's, and a vet in the same ilk as Wayne...come on man, that argument is stupid.
  20. This isn't true, and if it were, don't you think it would be wise to build the D as quickly as possible to beat these teams?
  21. Are you telling me the offensive skill positions for Lucks rookie year were better than Newtons? Not now, then.
  22. Please look at Andrew Luck's rookie teammates, and compare them to Cam's. Luck, Fleener, Allen, Hilton, Wayne, and Ballard. Newton, Smith, Olsen, Shockey, Williams, Stewart, LaFell. Who had more weapons? This is in response to the "more with less" thing, BTW.
  23. Was I being a bad fan when I was screaming at the top of my lungs to not sign these overrated players to stupid contracts 4-5 years ago? Wonder what has changed...it's not you, who supported overpaying these players...
