Jameson Williams Bryces deep threat in college, is arguably faster than both but didn't test due to his ACL injury. The issue at the NFL level is you don't face Alcorn States secondary with WRs running free.

This, people keep trying to coddle a guy we gave up a 1st swap, future 1st (no.1 overall), future 2nd, and DJ Moore. And some of you are patting his back for just "average" play if that. Bryce HAS TO ELEVATE this team in order to validate the investment, and any future considerations regarding an extension of 50M + etc. He has NOT lived up to being the no.1 overall pick, I'm glad we won...but I'm still not sold on Bryce, we need to continue looking to improve the QB position.

Have you watched him play...have you not heard Canales, through the media tell EJ and the defensive staff to play the young talent...this is at least a year over due.

Rico is a 1K back, he just didn't get paid like Chuba, and he's a better pass catcher than Chuba, even though Chuba has improved. WE WERE DOWN 20+ where do people think these extra carries are going to come from. The fact we got in 19 between them is surprising. Talk about how Bryce can't hit open wide open receivers...

Before last season if memory serves, then Rod Wave had to give him a pep talk was the running joke, but I think it actually happened.

No one said that, but QBs ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS ON TEAM. If your QB is limited, your team is limited. With consistency in the competency dept. we could at least be a .500 club. So not only is Bryce limited with his on the field skill set...he's not consistently competent. Which spells disaster.

Competent QB play wins in Weeks 1 and 2.

I'll take it, but Bryce was "meh" to me, left a lot of yards out there on errant throws throughout the game. He still needs to be much better. I expect more from a no. 1 overall selection.

Well Bryce is leading that group, and he's honestly not very good...so what do you expect.

I think being out on Dan is shortsighted; here are the two immediate reasons that stick out to me. 1) Inherited a grossly undersized QB with no real tangible physical traits that offset his size that the prior offensive staff did not want, who appears to be an all-time bust. Bryce isn't ''elite'' in any physical category, athleticism, arm strength, nothing, even his ''superpower'' aka his processing, does not show up. Not to mention that he is in his 3rd year and is still built like an HS senior. 2) The roster was terrible, the fact that we have halfway established some depth on both sides of the ball is commendable considering we are at the top of his 2nd year at the helm; we have not seen bad contracts handed out, and we've seen relatively smart trades. Even the Thielen one, because he's 35 and we got 4th round value for a guy who was not part of the long-term plans, did we miss him these past two games...sure. However, we were not a playoff team with him anyway.

That part right there, how many times have we seen Aaron Rodgers as an example use those types of moments as an opportunity to take a shot downfield or into the endzone... For the ''IQ'' and ''Processing, his brain is like a computer'' talk, he consistently seems average at best in the majority of these situations.

The fact some of y'all are STRESSING over trading Thielen is wild. We flipped a 35 year old for what equated to the value of a 4th (4th, and 5th in reality) with the swaps. TMac, XL, Coker, Horn, Sanders, and Tremble (who's back at practice); also factor in a top 10 OL, and two top 12 HBs in yards from last season...and y'all acting like its the end of thw world. These younger guys need to play, and we also have future assets to further improve depth.

It's going to be: N4lo Legette AT Hunter Coker Horn Moore IMO will be a vet PS option, similar to Matthews, and Boone last year.

I think it's more like we're nowhere near TC, there's a decent amount of quality vets a available. Let's see what we have in the young guys, and we can always sign a vet, pre, or post camp if needed.

You should go look up their coverage splits, Morgan also discusses it. Each has ample experience deep and in the box. What I like about both is that they will come up and knock your head off in run support. Let this FO do their thing; I think they've earned some grace this off-season.

You also have to consider the cap, they're paying Trevor, and others premium dollars, so honestly they may not be able to afford the 5th year option.

He took a pay cut earlier this off season. He's around 3M.
