Just keep the rookies in. Fug everybody else.
-
Gotta catch that.
-
Nothing wrong that pass.
-
Oh Shiite!!!
-
That's a bit of a stretch. Thinking he would be running more if he had zero confidence in the QB.
-
Bryce should have took off sooner on that one.
-
Now he runs the ball? Geez
-
Up the middle. twice if you need to. Geez!
-
Stupid play call. Stupid.
-
I think that shows the confidence the QB has in his receivers to make a play.
-
You know exactly what they're gonna do and still can't stop them? Wow!
-
this defense is BALLS
-
come on defense! Dang!!!
-
receiver fell into the hit. horrible call. nothing the defender could do.
-
Coker was open there too. Gents I think we have our 1 and 2 WRs!
-
Let's GOOOOOO!!!
-
Coker is that dude!
-
WTF was that? Come on
-
Plus he's only been a playcaller for 1 season before coming here.
-
Gotta blitz every passing scenario. Every single one.
-
Yeah, they're definitely overthinking it.
-
Geez what a hit! Woods tried to kill him there.

Stroud showed a lot of elusiveness last night. I was genuinely surprised to see him get away from some sure tackles. The Jets could have easily had double digit sacks last night. But... no QB can overcome a bad oline, bad weapons, bad scheme and bad playcalling (bad scheme and playcalling meaning it doesn't fit your personnel, and a lack of adjustments). People put QBs on a pedestal, but I've always approached them like Canales - 1/11th of the offense, with a little more weight because they touch the ball every play. The Jets comeback was just as much on those WRs making plays as it was Aaron Rodgers. I might argue even more.

Honestly, not expecting much initially. It'll take a couple of weeks to get into game shape and adjust to the speed. He didn't even participate in OTAs. We should see what we really have in a month.

Bryce is starter Sunday per Canales presser

Got you. The point is the team did not protect the QB that game. They got after him in way that no team has done since that game. Again, the QB had some culpability along with playcalling and WRs not recognizing hot. Saints caught them with some exotic blitzes they weren't ready for.
