  1. Damn y’all. Xavier Restrepo as an excellent and clutch football player. Surprised a Dwayne Jarrett 40 dropping him this far.
  2. Preferred Jackson over Deone Walker….by a lot.
  3. REALLY poor draft for pure FS. Starks and Bowman was really it. A lot of those guys that went were more box safeties and big nickels.
  4. Got ahead of the RB run. Team seems to have a good pulse and what is going on around them.
  5. Fug it. Can’t win em all. Keep Pounding!!!
  6. At this point. You can’t take Sanders unless you’re the Steelers, Chiefs, Ravens, or Bills. Team has to have No QB, Elite QB, or high on hallucinogens 40 year old QB. Anything else is self sabotage. And I actually like Sanders, hate watched him for 2 years. Something about being a Heisman finalist after running for your life and getting your ass whipped every drop back and still performing at a high level. Definitely should’ve been 2nd QB off the board,
  7. So important after watching our last decent Edge duo of Burns and Reddick get absolutely throttled vs the run.
  8. No doubt. 7 would still be more than Jalon Walker had last year…..ohhh wee mane.
  9. Alright dawg. Give me Oladejo, Green, Parrish, or my dark horse Danny Stutsman.
  10. Wasn’t a huge fan of him, just isn’t flashy. But if we truly liked Mykel Williams. Change the jerseys, the game is the same.
  11. One of those Walker fanboys posted defense was tapped out after Round 1.
  12. Yeah…there’s a “yeah but” with all these edge guys tho. Even EZ, he’s not stout at holding the point, same with Swinson Green might be a raper, Oladejo is raw. The buckeye duo aren’t that quick. Pick your poison. One deficiency doesn’t seem all that worse than others.
  13. Belton if avail. Pierce if not. Depending on who is avail Grant, Vinson would be intriguing.
  14. I explained in a pre draft thread that XL wasn’t an X receiver and would best be served as a taller, less physical Deebo. Trying to make him an on ball X would have been a huge mistake. You now have someone that is a sure handed guy who can play the X, maybe he’s best as a jumbo slot, we’ll see about that. This was absolutely a team fit. I know board members wanted Walker, but he, like his teammate Williams never had a true breakout season statistically (Butkus award, I know). Position of need, Ideal size, Proven production, Healthy. TMac checked a ton of boxes that quite literally were question marks for several R1 guys.
  15. Lakers totally should have cut Kobe during his allegation. The big risk with Green is future allegations and fabrications. Although he’s never been charged he’ll have a huge target on his back from the blackmailers. I’d go another direction for that reason.
  16. I disagree with TMac being a reach at 8. This board has worshipped Tee Higgins for 2 years straight. Forget what the draftniks say. You were essentially picking between the top player at a position on your board and one of them never put up big numbers. The excuse for that is limited snaps, why in the fug would a top 10 pick have limited snaps. I don’t care if it’s UGA or the Harlem globetrotters. Top tier players need to be playing 90% of the time.
  17. Have you thought about moving over to the Falcons with him? Does Jalon know your feelings for him?
  18. Give me one of them UCLA boys. Schwesinger at ILB or Oladejo at OLB.
  19. Should be able outside run ATL to death. Brian Burns and Hason Reddick level washout.
  20. The crashouts are worth it no matter how this lands. The Walker fanboys were as annoying as the day 2 Darnell Washington fanboys a couple years ago.
  21. Maybe so man. I’m holding out hope for Schwesinger at 15-20, hell even 8. He busts you get fired, but everybody been saying no difference in talent level after the top 5.
  22. fug it…give me Schwesinger off the top rope.
  23. Mason Graham is also absolutely not a scheme fit for Carolina in 2025, but here we arez
  24. Conventionally this isn’t a normal draft. Normal rules don’t apply. There is no discernible difference between prospects from picks 5 to 100. Ward, Hunter, Carter, Warren, Jeanty. And two of those are a TE and RB…gasp… I would rather take us Carson Schwesinger at 8 than Mykel Williams…wouldn’t even feel bad about it. Same thing for Derrick Harmon over Nolen. EZ over Walker. Simmons over Esery. The point is it doesn’t matter what other people rank player 10 and player 30 if the team feels they are even. I don’t think we should get fleeced but if you give up a point or two in value…this the year to do it. I normally hate trading down, but the sweet spot is where it is.
