Played their asses off and kept Bryce upright most of the game. I thought with Hunt being out it would hurt, but they played very well. Zavala and Mays showed up and did their jobs. Good job guys.

Young isnt playing that bad this game. The Oline is holding up.

Same could be said for Hooker. Still young enough, good size and good arm. He is already here. Everyone sez he sux, but what are our choices? If Bryce sh#ts the bed again, might as well try it out.

High Hopes

Panthers cannot afford to fug this up again. I wouldn't invest a number number one pick on a QB again in this draft...always a roll of the dice. To many areas of dire need. Choose Dl, Edge or LB for our first round pick. Add another Oline player in the middle rounds. No more PROJECTS or INJURED players please. The QB situation is dicey. Will he ever emerge due to his limited physical abilities or not? They obviously need a plan B on the roster. I HATE to say it, but maybe a veteran like Winston for Canales to work with would be an option short term. This season is going down the drain fast.

Panthers will be in the basement again this year. All three teams mentioned are better then us.

With the Oline regressing, with the QB still dancing a jig and the Defense running around in circles, can they possibly win five games. The remaining games are not going to be pretty. I'm thinking 2 - 3 wins at best. If they can beat N.O twice and pull another win out their ass, then maybe. What you got?

He is 27 years old, good size and weight and a good athlete. Is it not worth a shot to give him a good look? Nothing to lose since the QB room in this years draft isn't that great. Why not roll the dice and see what happens. Maybe another Jake, who knows.

First round QB picks find a way to get the win. Fifth round QB picks don't. He was way over drafted.
