  1. Yeah, I liked him and now he's going to what seems like a crappy situation. Best of luck Dan.
  2. A lot, if not all, coaches think they can coach guys up. Sometimes they can but sometimes the player just is what he is, especially if he already has a few years under his belt.
  3. Not everyone. I was happy with our defense considering our lack of talent.
  4. I think putrid is a bit excessive. Just the (11) coaches since 2000 are 220-237, so not far below .500. That list doesn't include Pete Carrol or Jimmy Johnson. Some of those (Kelly, Petrino, Spurrier) were trying to gimmick the NFL with their system. Rhule is a program builder and will adapt to what he needs. Not saying you may not be right. I am pretty split because I like what I've seen from Saleh and am cautiously optimistic on Rhule.
  5. Maybe he asked to be released after seeing the momentum for Mac Jones to start. Better now and get a chance somewhere else.
  6. I feel like PJ is slightly better. Even if they are on the same level, I'm fine with Rhule taking his guy. Makes sense, he knows him and trusts him. Keeping a lesser player for that reason I'd have a problem with (all other things being equal).
  7. I know. Two days in a row I've gotten ESPN alerts about Panther trades. Not used to that. Ups the excitement level for when I hear that sound.
  8. My guess is they upped the $ a bit because it's shorter terms. Hopefully we lock up DJ and one of or both Marshall and Smith develop and we don't need Robby in 2 to 3 years. I'm okay with it for 2 years.
  9. Yep. I think that's why we cut Caleb before Cody.
  10. Agree. If Kai develops, I could see him as a poor man's Giannis given the way he plays.
  11. I kind of figured this after the draft and trade for Plumlee. If they hit on Jones it could pan out in two to three years. If not it's probably goodbye Melo and continued mediocrity.
  12. For real. That dude needs to be a stunt driver.
  13. If that's what smart tesms do, what does that say about the team on the other end of the trade.
  14. Considering this is one of his more coherent posts, I'm guessing not enough, at least by his standards.
  15. So, the other coaches in the league are just taking it easy on their QBs?
  16. Article by Cynthia Freelund. "No tight end in the FBS last season earned a better center of gravity percentage on both passing and rushing downs than Tremble. This metric reflects a player's ability to maintain his center of gravity when hit or making a hit and has proven to be highly correlated to NFL blocking success since I started measuring it back in 2008." https://www.nfl.com/news/which-nfl-rookie-tight-ends-will-be-most-productive-in-2021-my-analytics-based-t
