Yeah if Reich was a first time HC I’d be a bit more understanding of the issues going on right now but this guy has been around wayyyyyyy too long and a HC for the last 5 damn seasons to make me think anything is changing

Good post. I feel the same. I used to care a lot. I’m 35 now and I have other sh!t to worry about. It used to be when the Panthers lost on a Sunday my Sunday was ruined. Win or lose I’m out walking my dogs during the late games and I don’t care. I’m an LA Angels fan and I despise their owner. To the point I’ve lost all interest. I’m actually thankful it’s happened because it made me realize I cared wayyyyy too much. They won a World Series in 2002 and it was cool but that was over a day later. Point is, sure it would be cool to see the Panthers win a SB and it’s definitely a lot more fun/interesting when they’re playing meaningful football but had they won in 03 or 15 would that change anything now? No. Sports really are just entertainment and at the end of the day it’s more entertaining when they’re winning but that’s all. I can flip on KC and watch Mahomes do some cool stuff and it’s just as entertaining

Burrow took off once he had Chase. They were able to draft Chase because “rebuilding” teams have 1st rounders! So not only did we trade away our WR1 but we also traded away our best shot at finding one the following year

Especially when the Bears were willing to take Derrick Brown. Obviously that would’ve left a massive hole up but that seems like nothing compared to what we’re watching Bryce have to go through

If not Burns what draft picks or other players are you willing to trade? do we just take our lumps this year and hope Higgins hits the market? The Panthers also need to decide what they’re going to do with Luvu this offseason. The Panthers aren’t in a position to let players walk for nothing. So Luvu obviously isn’t going to land us a WR1 but looking ahead to the offseason and Luvu being an FA if he isn’t in their cap plans they need to trade him, he’ll have some value.

The Panthers gave up way too much to draft Bryce Young to not give him the necessary pieces to succeed. It’s obvious this offense lacks a WR1. It also lacks a good play caller but for now let’s talk WR1 Everyone assumed Burns would be paid by now since Fitterer turned down a package of a lifetime from the Rams. With the Burns situation taking an odd turn which WR1 would you potentially trade Burns for? We don’t have a 1st rounder next year (obviously) so Burns might be our best shot at landing a WR1. The other team would have to be willing to pay Burns but not their WR. I think the obvious answer here is Higgins but who else is there? Jameson Williams could be an interesting target. Detroit would have to give us back more than just Williams for Burns though

Might be a thread worthy topic Which WR who could realistically be had via trade would you trade Burns for? That team would then also have to be unwilling to pay their WR but willing to pay Burns…

He wants Bosa money and he doesn’t deserve it but the Panthers have cornered themselves. I would’ve traded Brown instead of Moore. Now we may have to trade Burns for a legit WR. That’s a trade I’d make for the sake of our QB’s development.

There is no reason to drag this out with Reich when we have Thomas Brown just sitting there twiddling his thumbs

Once Corbett comes back things should start to pick up. By the end of the year I expect Zavala to have secured the LG spot moving forward

After all the slow starts Reich has had its very concerning he still chose not to use the preseason this year especially with all the new pieces. I despised Ron for being set in his sh!tty ways maybe Reich isn’t too far behind

For the sake of Young’s development they should’ve traded Brown instead of Moore. Or at least replaced Moore with someone worth a damn
