  1. Thomas is here until next year. Him and Donte will probably be gone next offseason
  2. Oh good lord Ah yes the Saints, they haven’t paid significant consequences at all due to their cap issues. They’ve been able to keep all their good players the last few years… smh
  3. And where do you think the money is coming from this year to sign these guys? Dalton has a void year in 2025 that counts for 3 mill against our cap already
  4. By the time this offseason is over I don’t think we’re going to have as much cap space in 2024 as a lot of you think we will Assuming a Burns extension gets done. They’ll probably take a big hit next year. Von and Shy are 20 mill against our cap. A lot of these contracts are being structured this way due to all the dead money/lack of space this year. Shaq’s contract hasn’t been posted yet either and I’m sure they just pushed most of it over to next year Guys like Donte and Ian can be cut though so save a nice chunk
  5. could end up being legit but as of now nothing… Go watch Ebron’s 2018 highlights to get an idea of how much Reich likes to use his TE. Maybe Waller’s injury history scared them off and that would be fair but we need to get a real TE
  6. The fact Montgomery is getting 3/18 tells me the Lions most likely offered Williams that first Which makes me worried about what we’re about to pay him
  7. Means Williams is likely signing elsewhere and soon I think people think Williams is a lot better than he actually is due to the number of touchdowns he had last year
  8. There’s a few of these where Young doesn’t see his guy in the middle of the field and that’s my concern. Kyler struggles to see the middle of the field too. Meanwhile CJ throws some of the prettiest balls down the middle of the field you’ll ever see. I feel with CJ, Reich can get back to what he was doing in 2018 with Luck https://horseshoeheroes.com/2022/09/06/frank-reich-excited-surprise-world-with-colts-real-offense/ The offense will probably consist of a lot of play-action and timing routes. With a quarterback like Ryan who specializes in accuracy and being on time, Reich has likely designed an offense that will involve a lot of crossing routes and action in the middle of the field with Indy’s massive tight ends.
  9. Thielen’s route running combined with Stroud’s ability to throw guys open/ball placement would extend Thielen’s career by a year or two
  10. From one terrible red head to another
  11. You had to make a separate thread for this crap?
  12. It’s never a coincidence when a guy misses as much time as he does his first 3 seasons but doesn’t miss a game during his contract year
  13. I’d legit rather go 0-17 than have this egotistical maniac be our QB
  14. I really hope not. He can’t stay healthy
  15. If you have the cap space and you’re ready to win those mid rounders are much better spent on guys like Ramsey, Waller and Gilmore
  16. Waller for a 3rd Ramsey for a 3rd Yeah… Go get Hopkins now please
  17. Been rumoured for awhile he’d get traded this offseason I saw some Giants/Gesicki rumours so hopefully now that this domino has fallen things will pickup on the TE market
  18. He’s back up to +275 on bet365 now I got Bryce at +450 AR is at +400 right now for me
  19. Yeah because drafting some WR in the 3rd round is the solution to surrounding our rookie with proper talent. Sending one of our 4th’s or SF’s 3rd for Hopkins would solve a lot of issues. God forbid we won’t be able to draft another Brandon Smith in the 4th this year But instead you want to pay for one of these WR3’s on the market? Good thinking, we don’t have enough of those! Maybe they can call up Marvin McNutt and see what he’s up to
  20. Bryce Young is down to +250 to go 1st overall now
  21. Yes that’s what I’m suggesting if you ignore the part I said to sign Gesicki and trade for one of the big name WR’s.
  22. Yep exactly this This WR FA class is dog sh!t. I’d hate to see them overpay for one of these guys. This year was always about getting a rookie QB’s feet wet and taking our dead money hit without hurting our future cap I don’t want to see us hurting our future cap for mid to lower tier type dudes. I do think signing Gesicki would be solid. We need a true TE for our rookie QB. If they’re going to address wide receiver it needs to be through trade and it needs to be one of the big name guys. Make sure you surround the rookie with legit weapons not overpay for some bum like Jakobi Meyers
  23. If he leaves it’ll mean someone overpaid for him Him and Bozeman were both made fair offers. The RB market isn’t any better than the centers market so I fully expect him to be back
