  1. I'm not suggesting tie them to MC for a new HC to have him as their starting QB. I'm just saying here's what I got from him based on his limited time last year. It wasn't good, but how often do you get a Dak, RW or TB12? I have no issues drafting a new QB. At best, MC is QB3 for now if PJ hangs around and we draft a new QB. But I also think any HC with any NFL experience is going to look at what Rhule did and shake his head saying WTF. Right now MC is the equivalent of Will Grier to me.
  2. I have a hard time with anything the guy did in preseason as a preview to what he can do. Matt Rhule was god awful and put no one in a position to have any success. Icky, Bozeman, BC, QB competition, it was all god awful. Getting mental reps doesn't mean squat. He needed to be practicing live reps to gain experience and adjust to NFL player speed. That's how you develop QBs. At this point, I see him as a 3rd round rookie since he never made it through TC and preseason. All I ever hoped is he might be a capable backup at some point and possibly surprise us with some starter potential. I don't expect much from him going forward or that he will even have any shot as a starter. The whole situation is one big poo stain.
  3. I guess it depends on which trade you're looking at. Remember, we traded up to get him.
  4. We have had some of the most boring offenses in football the last 3 years and Turner wasn't exactly an offensive mastermind. Depending on what Shanahan does with him that offense, he could be ridiculous.
  5. They like overpaying for used up QBs. Maybe we could trade straight across for Sammy D or the brown bomber.
  6. All depends on how he performs. If he can lead this team, with PJ at QB and actually improve the team making good roster decisions, then he deserves to be part of the coaching search. That's about all I'm willing to say because I want this process to be thorough and as many qualified candidates as we can interviewed. If he's the best out of all those we interview, great. If not, so be it.
  7. Tom Brady looked like a shell of a man yesterday. He is skinny, getting divorced, eating kumquat paste smoothies or whatever his diet regimen is now and he played like ass. That ain't the same tb12 from last year. I always enjoy a win but I ain't drinking all that kool-aid yet.
  8. He might have more talent than he was able to show under Rhule? The hell you say.
  9. Same thing. Our entire offense was run through CMC by coaches design. They finally had to do something different because they had no choice.
  10. CMC made this offense predictable. I am really interested in seeing what happens when he isn't the focal point.
  11. Anyone still think McAdoo isn't the biggest problem with this offense?
  12. You have to stop at some point since you don't want to have too many high picks coming up for contract at once. If we're stacking picks, I hope we go for Harbaugh. HC with experience which seems to be a Tepper requirement. Not too many young offensive minds with a lot of experience available.
  13. Eagles would be the ideal trade partner with 2 1sts. Teams know they have a small window. If Burns can help get them to the SB and elevate their defense to stop Mahomes, Jackson, etc, he's worth it. A ring fixes a lot. I'd ask for 2 1sts and their 2nd since it would be essentially a 3rd. 3 1sts, 2 nds, a 3rd and 2 4ths will attract a really good HC.
  14. Baker was playing worse than Pickles. Of course that's like asking yourself which poo smells worse. They both stink.
  15. The Giants offense has almost no one at WR and they have Saquan. Our version of CMC. They are winning games with less offensive talent than we have(had). Coaching matters. Culture matters. Daniel Jones is actually looking like a QB. I don't give a poo if we have all top 10 picks in next year's draft. If we don't get the leadership right in this organization, we're on a fast train to Shitsville.
  16. I'm over mediocrity. I don't want to get back there. We've been mediocre for 20 out of our 27 years.
  17. We haven't hit rock bottom yet. There's still a whole lot of ways for Tepper to screw this up and it starts by hiring some worn out retread HC. My hope is he lets Fitts/Morgan do their job this offseason, if they make it that far, and find qualified candidates who can bring new energy and innovation into this organization. Right now, it just feels like we're getting ready to do the whole Rhule process over again, except this time the hire will be Joe Judge.
  18. I have very little hope. You have hope in the owner who is responsible for all of this to begin with. Hurney, keeping Rivera, Rhule. All Tepper, All disasters. And Fitts is part of this but his performance has yet to be determined.
  19. It's not age so much as contracts. Burns is going to have to get a new contract soon and DJ will be getting another one in a few years. Playing on this team could literally cost them 10s of millions of $.
  20. We didn't miss it. We've always known it. When Mike Shula is your best OC, it's just fugging depressing.
  21. Expect 8 in the box on nearly every play. We can't run, won't pass, and could finish this season with less total offense than Jared fugging Goff.
