Him and Moore should be an improvement in the red zone, where we badly struggled last year throwing the ball (yes partly due to Teddy but also because none of our WRs or TEs last year excelled in the red zone as receivers. McCaffrey was our only red zone threat, frankly, and he missed most of the season). Solid signing, and cheap enough that even if he doesn’t add much other than a big body in the red zone, it can’t possibly hurt us that much.

Tepper schemed this up so they’d cut him then once his name is cleared we just sign him for free. Genius. Seriously, I would want him for the right price still if we are confident he will be allowed to play without a long suspension or stay on the exempt list. Don’t care what players do off the field if they aren’t criminal matters and don’t affect the on field performance, frankly.

This needs to happen. Then add Malik Hooker at FS and our D looks really really fuging good.

Yeah pretty bad but let’s be honest if the Bears took either of those 2 while they’d probably still be quite a bit better than Mitch, they wouldn’t be anywhere near as good as they have been for their respective teams. BoB was a disaster of a team builder but he built a pretty damn good offense there and developed Watson well. Obviously Reid has played a big part in Mahomes’ development too.

Not a bad price but a bit more than I’d want to pay him here. Happy for him getting paid, and I think we’re better off using that money on our defense acquisitions.

Same thought crossed my mind. I don’t want to give up Burns at all but if we do in a Watson trade I’ll feel a bit better about it having Reddick here now than if we didn’t sign him.

$2.1m for him seems fair, I won’t blame him one bit if he leaves if we won’t even offer that much.

The sexual harassment stuff that just popped up will also likely make it take longer. We (or any other team) aren’t giving up a crap ton for him with that hanging over his head and potential NFL discipline. I don’t think he gets traded until that is sorted out, which could be before the draft but who knows.

Burns is worth 2 first rounders for sure. Brown worth a top 10 pick or more. So that’s 2 top 10 picks and 4 other first rounders. Can only laugh at that.

Wouldn’t want to give up that much but there’s no doubt he’d be a big add to our biggest position of need. Would probably be at the very least Monk or Graham, 2021 first rounder, Zeller. Not sure I want to pay that price for him honestly and that would still probably require an add from us.

They’ve lost a lot of really good players, including a hall of fame QB, and have a ton of dead cap coming up. They’re not going to be contending any time soon.

Not relevant. They used a relatively significant amount of cap space on another QB. Watson will not be happy about that at all.
