  1. Not a big fan of this. He's not Brown or Metcalf. Good not great hands and is intimidated but physical play. Watch his game vs Mississippi State last year. He got hit hard the first drive and wasn't a factor the rest of the game. Wanted Sanders or the LSU edge more.
  2. Love to pick up Sanders or Ringo
  3. Drew Sanders or Ringo. Both would play a lot and soon. Hall and Mingo are overrated.
  4. The debate is over. You are my QB and I am fully pulling for you to bring us our 1st SB. #teamBryce.
  5. Stop with the trades. One more player isn't going to change our team one way or the other. Quit giving up picks
  6. I'm not interested in his height, moreover his slight build. He has a very small frame and only weighs 185 at the most. Steve weight 215. That's a 30 pound difference
  7. Looks like we are drafting Young, so whatever. But the attempts to hurt Stroud are probably coming from a team who wants him to fall to them. It's pretty sick to do this to a guy, any guy.
  8. If Zach Evans of Ole Miss is there in the 4th, we should take him.
  9. When we announce our pick, wherever the other QB goes is no longer a concern. It has no bearing on us as a franchise and we just need to be invested in making our selection successful. Tom Brady was a 6th round pick. You just never know a lot of times.
  10. I like Young as a College QB. This isn't College. He would immediately be the smallest qb in frame to ever be drafted. I dont care which qb you want if you aren't concerned, then you either don't understand the NFL or are just not going to acknowledge it. If he gets crushed, you just mortgaged our franchise for at least 5 years. I'm not willing to take that risk, but if others are comfortable with it, so be it. That is the main argument.
  11. I am lmao. I made zero comments, said this is supposed to be our selection, posted a picture and folks lose their minds. It's the same as an inkblot test. Your response is what you see, nothing I said.
  12. I dont know who the pick will be but still want Stroud due to accuracy and NFL size. But seeing an article from an unemployed former talking head and giving his take from his basement podcast, makes me take this much less seriously.
  13. Sanders. I think he can be groomed to be a terrific 1 2 punch with Burns
  14. LB Drew Sanders Arkansas CB Emmanuel Forbes Miss State RB Devon Achane TAMU WR Tyler Scott Cincinnati
  15. It was but it was because he not only was an elite passer, but ran like a deer. CJ is a better passer, but isn't going to be a prolific runner
  16. According to one college coach. And he's talking about CJ Stroud. I'm ready for the draft because all we are getting is a steady stream of one guy is incredible, this one blew me away, etc. I'm just glad it will be over soon and that we put ourselves in a position to get a leader for the next decade, instead of the rental trash we have been putting on the field. https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/2023/03/31/2023-nfl-mock-draft-college-coach-c-j-stroud-trevor-lawrence/?utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=trueanthem&utm_source=facebook
  17. If we are going to do this, see Alabama QBs in the NFL. They suck
  18. I'd really like LB Drew Sanders of Arkansas if he's there. Has the ability to add weight and get to 6'5" 245. Very athletic and would bookend Burns.
  19. I want Stroud because I think he's a better passer and has the size to be a franchise QB for a decade. I've seen Young play several times and love his game, but at the college level. I have my doubts that with his slight frame that he will stay healthy. Having said that, I want whoever the staff finally decides on and am not going to be disappointed in whoever gets called. I'm just excited we put ourselves in a position to get one of these two.
  20. As a season ticket holder at Mississippi State, I get to see Alabama every year as well as LSU, and Georgia two of the last 3 years. As good as they are, it is nothing like the NFL. Thats the reason The Golden Calf of Bristol was all SEC and All American, yet was an NFL washout. Two entirely different animals
  21. In all honesty, if Bryce was 3 inches taller and 30 pounds heavier, no one would be having as much of a debate. But he isn't. And most forget the one thing that has elevated his play substantially is having a former NFL OC and HC as his coordinator. He should look polished on film and does. But none of that changes the fact he doesn't have the size to stay healthy in a league of seek and destroy missiles. You cam hope and wish all you want, but it isn't going to change his measurables.
  22. Picture of Reich watching Young at his Pro Day.
