I really like Willis, but I guarantee you if the Panthers slipped this out then they are thinking about going another direction.

After seeing how other successful franchises "kick the can down the road", I refuse to worry about this.

Willis is awful appealing, but I have the feeling they will go with the player is currently the better QB: Pickett...IF they go QB that is.

This is true. If a law enforcement WANTS to pursue a case, they rarely get rejected by the grand jury. There must have been hardly any - if any at all - evidence presented to the first grand jury.

If you determine that Corral is better than Pickett or WIllis, you don't trade back because he might not be there. Don't go by the mock drafts. If Corral is the guy, the Panthers brass will not be the only ones to see that. Teams overdraft QBs anyway. Personally, I don't know who the best is out of that group. I would agree that McAdoo should be the one calling the shots though.

Every year I read about players who may be gone by the time the Panthers draft. It's funny. I have heard that about at least 10 players already this year. Like someone else said, we will get a good player at 6 that will improve our team. If it is an OT or defensive player, so be it. Heck, if both top QBs are gone, we will have a stud drop into our lap.

Please, not a 4th this year. We are already hurting with a lack of picks. 5th or future 4th, maybe.

With Chinn going back to LB, add another good safety and MLB and this defense is looking pretty good.

Willis has the arm strength we have not seen since Cam pre-injuries. If he develops, he might be the one.

Lamar Jackson, Kyler Murray. I think Malik can be on that level. Similar size, strong arms and running ability.

Rhule's ship was likely just sunk if DW is out, though.

I am fine with taking a OT or even a defensive player to keep building there.

Keep Cam and draft Willis to sit for a year. That or keep building that OL and have it ready for the future stub QB of the future.

Not sure how NO puts an offer together that comes anywhere close to ours, but it seems they have edged out the Panthers somehow. It sure seems like we will be the bridesmaids in this one, which may be a blessing in disguise in the long run. Who knows...

"It seems" - How many different times has something seemed one way or another during this whole process? So many games being played and false information being spread about Watson right now from various angles.

I see the argument, but its a business, not little league. Players will show up and play hard or they will not be in the league long.
