Was looking forward to this episode and it delivered. Great watch and a good introduction to our big FA acquisitions. I think our depth is really suspect across the board, but if we can stay healthy (big if), I really like our starters on both offense and defense and think we could surprise some folks this year.

Trevor Lawrence’s rookie season numbers with a complete train wreck around him were just as terrible as Bryce’s. It’s not really that crazy.

I don’t get the hype around last years D. It was a bad defense, IMO, that benefited from teams just playing vanilla and risk free football because our offense was so bad they knew they didn’t need to do much. They couldn’t stop the run and couldn’t generate turnovers. The only thing they were average at was rushing the passer. I see a slightly worse pass rush this year and much better run D, with the secondary being a wash.

Things can change so quickly in the NFL. There’s been so many examples of teams being train wrecks one season then decent the next. I’m holding out hope we’ve finally got things right because why not.

Some of the adjustments and catches they made in this video would have 100% been incompletions and “uncatchable balls” with the Panthers WRs.

The draft lottery is a joke. There is 100% a better way to stop tanking. How about if you tank, you forfeit your draft pick. Boom, solved. All the lottery does is punish truly bad teams. The NBA just uses it for rigging and ratings.
