I wasn't too impressed with Steichen's play calling
WUnderhill replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
We nearly went undefeated and had a really hard offense to stop with Cam Newton and Mike Shula. Imagine somebody hiring Mike Shula to HC after that thinking they were getting some wunderkind. Not saying Steichen and Shula are the same, just something to think about. I saw a lot of great plays made by Eagles players last night, I didn’t necessarily see them outscheme the Chiefs. I have the same problem with Hurts, and Olsen pointed it out a little. He chucked up a couple bombs that were basically just betting that AJ Brown would play the ball better than the coverage. One was a TD, one was nearly a pick. I saw several plays where both Hurts and the play design were bailed out by Goedert or a WR making spectacular grabs in coverage. -
How do you rank these QB’s that are 26 or younger
WUnderhill replied to panther4life's topic in Carolina Panthers
I assume you mean in the sense of who would you rather build a team around as opposed to who is better right now, otherwise undrafted QBs would have to be last. I’d go: Allen Burrow Herbert Lawrence Hurts Stroud Young Jackson Tua -
Wow that’s like 7 incidents from a decade plus career and nothing that even comes close to the theatrics of Lebron rolling around on the ground slamming his fists. Sorry, still don’t think MJ was “whiny”.
-
Do you think MJ was whiny?
-
I’m old enough that I actually watched MJ and remember it, and I don’t remember him being whiny. My memory could have some holes you’re right about that, but I don’t recall ever seeing him as whiny. And I don’t mean just asking for calls, Lebron and Brady throw literal temper tantrums.
-
MJ wasn’t.
-
Or say he didn’t want to win because he threw a duck on the last play of the game.
-
Dang what a weak throw.
-
Game.
-
This game has gotten good was getting sick of watching those Eagles drives.
-
Eagles got some stickem on their gloves.
-
Yikes, Butker almost missed that.
-
Seems like slipping on every play.
-
I’m sorry but if that’s ruled an incompletion it’s just a shitty rule.
-
Dude bro about bit it just trying to get into his td dance. How is the field this shitty on your premier event for the year.
-
That ankle ain’t looking good and that field looks like poo too.

I’d like to point out that all reasoning for that awful draft day trade, trading pick #13 for pick #29 and a few second round picks, has been proven complete bullshit at this point. The first being that we did not have room on the roster for 2 t15 picks we all knew was bullshit to begin with. And now the excuse of using the late first and/or the second round picks to be able to package to unload Hayward and his contract appears to be complete bullshit as well. The Hornets will not be players in free agency, and are currently doing just enough to not be involved in the 3 way tie for best odds at the #1 pick. But hey at least we got a bunch of 2nd rounders to fill out the BENCH on the SWARM. Starting positions on the Swarm are reserved for our lottery picks since we’re the only team in the league that can’t find a way to get them minutes on our super stacked 15 win “NBA” roster. I was a supporter of Kupchak before last years draft. Everything that has happened from draft night on has been a complete dumpster fire. This is some of the highest level of dysfunction and blundering idiocy I have ever witnessed. Kup and Clifford both need to go.
-
Apparently we could have traded them for James Wiseman
-
It may seem crazy, but apparently there’s teams out there that will trade lottery picks for a bunch of second rounders and a late round 1 pick. The Warriors now have a lot of second rounders to entice such boneheaded teams and move up to pick 13 or so…

A fat fug named Kelvin Benjamin. A fat fug named David Gettleman. A not-so-fat fug named Ron Rivera. An asshole named TJ Watt. A literal car crash. An asshole named Ryan Vermilion. A league that let players take free shots and treated him differently than any other QB. Some dumbass dietician. And lastly, Cam for listening to the dumbass dietician.

I’d like to thank Russell Wilson for torpedoing that shitstain franchise which led to Evero being available.

Jeff Howe on the Panthers "power dynamics"
WUnderhill replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Imagine having all those responsibilities and then wasting precious time micro managing social media and taking vacations in the middle of the season. Matt Rhule was one of the worst hires ever. -
Would you take Eric sleeping with Bieniemy as OC?
WUnderhill replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
I’d pass. If he wants to make a lateral OC move to be the main play caller, I would assume it is so that his resume looks better for a HC gig. So if he’s successful you pretty much know he’s leaving and he’s been doing it long enough that he’d probably generate interest after year 1. So best case you’re hiring a new OC in a year, and worst case he falls flat on his face. Seems like a lose/lose. -
Steve Smith on the Wilks vs Reich debate
WUnderhill replied to methodtoll's topic in Carolina Panthers
I like how this clown who knows nothing about the team, the season, the coaching search, didn’t even know the team interviewed Frank Reich and thought it “came out of nowhere” presumes to tell us Steve Wilks should be coach because 6-6. Who gave this clown a voice?
