Hope the guys are better at ping pong then they are at football. -
Looks like the MRI results hadn’t come in before the trade LMAO.

Lol… now it’s being reported that Hollywood Brown is only expected to miss six weeks… Robbie is going to love it when he’s fifth string behind Hopkins, Brown, Green, and Dortch.

PSA for Robbie… the Cardinals mascot is a bird… and they call him Big Red.
-
Doesn’t even have to get on the plane home.
-
That explains why he was ass during the preseason… probably drunk.

All of that is incorrect, NYCFC is getting a stadium and it could be done by 2025, they are currently playing in Yankee stadium because who owns them besides (City Football)… Yankee Global Enterprises… NYCFC only plays at Red Bull Arena when there is a stadium conflict. As I said before, Charlotte FC is going with Tepper if he he somehow got to move the Panthers… why… because 1) the MLS would be absolutely pissed about one of their teams being the only tenant in a 70K stadium and 2) Tepper isn’t going to pay the rent for two stadiums.
-
That’s just barstool being barstool I believe, seems like they were trying to make a joke. Nonetheless, he needs to go.
-
Jokes on him… nothing to drive into the ground here, we’re already in football hell.
-
Yes, they are playing in that stadium because it’s readily available and it’s a shared stadium… not sure what’s so difficult to understand here. There isn’t an MLS soccer specific stadium that has a capacity over 30K… which BofA would instantly become if the Panthers left. So yes… the MLS would force him build a soccer specific stadium. If you think Don Garber is going to let one of his teams play in a stadium that has a capacity of 70K and is the only tenant then you are out of your damn mind.
-
As I said in a previous post, the MLS despises their teams playing in NFL stadiums. The MLS would force Tepper to build a soccer specific stadium and he’d be on the hook for that himself, no way in hell the city would help out. For reference… Who owns Atlanta United… Arthur Blank… Who owns the New England Revolution… Robert Kraft That’s why those teams above also play in NFL stadiums. The Sounders and Fire also play in NFL stadiums but I can guarantee you that if the Seahawks or Bears ever moved then the NFL would force the owners of those teams to build soccer specific stadiums as well. It also makes no sense to keep Charlotte FC here, there’s a lot of crossover between the fanbases of the Panthers and Charlotte FC… Tepper would destroy half the Charlotte FC fanbase if he moved the Panthers and left Charlotte FC in Charlotte. Also, do you think that cheap bastard would be okay with footing the rent in one city for his soccer team and in another city for his football team? The whole reason the teams are sharing a building now is to save Tepper money.
-
100%, when Tepper added Charlotte FC to his portfolio he essentially eliminated any chance to move the teams. I just don’t see how he could move the Panthers without taking Charlotte FC with him. The MLS already despises their teams playing in NFL stadiums so I don’t think he’d be able to keep Charlotte FC at BofA. There just aren’t any cities left that need both an NFL and and MLS franchise.
-
Winning cures all though… up until 2019, it was the same poo with the Hurricanes… the team was moving to Winnipeg, etc… (all BS of course), then the team started winning and the rumors disappeared. Albeit, Dundon is using his own money to develop PNC arena and the surrounding area rather than the money of the citizens of The Triangle.
-
Not saying a move would ever happen but San Antonio does have the Alamo Dome readily available for a quick move while a new stadium is being built. I don’t think the odds are great that a move would occur because I doubt the MLS would let Tepper move after the attendance success that Charlotte FC just had… But if Tepper wouldn’t have bought an MLS team, I could have easily seen a move to Orlando, San Antonio, or Portland, all areas that are roughly the same size as Charlotte.
-
Have to keep in mind that Tepper shot himself in the dick by adding an MLS team. If he moves one, he’s going to have to move the other. Austin already has an MLS team and I can damn near guarantee you that the MLS would nix a move to OKC. If there ever was to be a move, San Antonio is probably the only option.
