  1. Odd that there is no news on potential candidates whatsoever. Darvin Ham is interviewing with the Lakers, I think he’ll be a great HC.
  2. Jeremiah, Shaw, and the NFLN crew basically said as much last night and with a deep class the run may continue.
  3. He also had one of if not the worst OL (along with Willis) in all of college football and his number one skill player was a slot receiver. I’d grade him off of the previous years tape before this past years. Maybe he is like Baker and needs to be surrounded by very good players to succeed… but unlike Baker, Howell is a calm leader and can command a team.
  4. Great video, I’d venture to say 1) most parents (mom or dad) don’t have the type of relationship with their children where they can ask their children those types of questions, or 2) are too caught with being the cool parent to have this type of conversation with their children.
  5. Boston sitting most everyone tonight… Pasta, Bergeron, Marchand, Hall, McAvoy, Haula, Grzelcyk, and Lindholm… phew buddy… if they don’t win tonight, you have to think the Canes will use the fact that they sat everyone to ensure they would play Carolina as some fuel.
  6. Is trading Robby really a stupid trade though?
  7. Agreed, only one who had a chance was Pickett… and a chance doesn’t always equate to success. It’ll be interesting to see the competition between him and Trubisky.
  8. Well Darnold better not wander too far because by week 9 he’ll be the starter again. I for one do not like Corral at all. The RPO dependency is a concern. I only like taking RPO QB’s if they have elite physical traits. Otherwise you end up with a player like Tua.
  9. Darnold better stay ready cause Corral is made of glass.
  10. Great comp, he goes unnoticed but unlike Robby, when the ball is sent his way he catches it.
  11. Not mad about it if it gets us back into the second to take Willis or Howell. Marshall (WR2) and even Zylstra (WR3) deserve bigger roles in my opinion. Especially Zylstra, all he does is make plays.
  12. The best mock I saw actually came from a friend of mine who has a source in the Panthers organization (rarely divulges info) and his day job is a pastor lol…. Only one that I saw to have Ekwonu falling (he actually had him all the way down to the Seahawks) and thought we would go Cross because of his pass protection. Also the only person I saw to have Willis fall out of the first. He nailed the top 10 outside of switching Ekwonu and Cross around. Crazy how wrong everyone was this year.
  13. I’m not a big fan of Brown but even still I don’t think you can deal from the DT position unless you have a backup plan and that backup plan would have had to been Davis… I don’t think Davis will be better than Brown fwiw. Probably not true anyway though.
  14. It’s literally all footwork, something that can be fixed. And this guy is pulling clips where he has poor sets but his sets and his overall technique is actually solid and Campen will have a good foundation to work with. I also think his hand technique is much better than given credit for, he just doesn’t have an off switch and sometimes continues to be a mauler when he should show a little finesse. Literally all the things that are being said about Ekwonu were also said about Bakhtiari (I know they were drafted in different situations)… literally everyone said Bakhtiari was going to be a guard because he struggled on the edge and his footwork was poor… who developed Bakhtiari and turned him into an all-pro LT… James Campen.
  15. Ekwonu has made significant improvements starting all the way back in HS and his trajectory has been one line up not a line that consists of peaks and valley’s. You take that type of kid all day long because 1) he’s already elite in one area (run blocking), 2) you have one of the best OL coaches in the NFL. Ickey also isn’t as bad of a pass protector as he’s made out to be. Through the first 5 games of last year he didn’t give up a single sack. There’s obviously work to be done but his trajectory is only going up.
  16. If Brady can’t transition to left guard, Deonte Brown is still hanging out hoping for a shot. Ickey and Brown would be 655 lbs. of road grade material on the left hand side.
  17. Things are about to get dicey… Bruins/Leafs, Lightning/Islanders… loser heads to Carolina.
  18. A couple of things here… 1. KK is heating up for the playoffs where he just flat out performs, has 12 points in 29 playoff games. 2. This jersey is elite!
  19. Lolol Koochie is hilarious, didn’t know what to do with the puck.
  20. Haven’t seen a goalie do that since Goldberg did in the Mighty Ducks.
  21. Necas and KK forming a great pair. So who sits besides Lorentz? Svech - Aho - Jarvis Domi - Trocheck - Turbo Ninio - Staal - Fast Marty/Step - KK - Necas Has to be Marty or Step which sucks because both are playing well.
