That possession stat is ridiculous. In professional soccer it’s rare to see possession greater than a split of 60-40 and that’s with a team like Chelsea playing a team like Norwich. NYCFC having 67% possession is unacceptable.

That’s a despicable half of football. At some point as a manger and as a player you have to realize that you have to have some sort of possession of the ball, even if it’s just knocking the ball around the back for a bit. NYCFC dominated possession and ran us ragged, long term that’s going to benefit them when our legs are gone. It’s going to take a miracle to come away with a point.
