  1. I think it’s safe to say that with Brady, more weapons and a better line (how much better yet to be revealed), Darnold will perform better here than NY. Modestly better? Substantially better? Will it be enough? Remains to be seen...
  2. Feels a little early for Darrisaw but I can understand the argument...
  3. Mint Street may go 'Sherman' tonight without any additional help...
  4. Hell, just give them Teddy and call in even...
  5. Hitting the Vicodin a little early in the afternoon, are we?
  6. Will that get us an additional third or fourth this year?
  7. This. He is not a bad player, just a good player on a really bad contract. The stench of Hurney is still in the building and won't be exercised until the last player contract he touched expires
  8. Agreed but SF may see him as a better scheme fit. [Oops, someone else posted similar above]
  9. Or you may not, there are no guarantees. Grab Sewell or Slater at 8 and be done with the revolving door at LT for the next 10 years. Let's not over think this or make it more complicated that it needs to be.
  10. Lime Green Jello today. Pudding was yesterday. And in the South, we pronounce it 'puddin', no g
  11. Agreed. The image that comes to mind is Lucy pulling the football away (again), just as Charley Brown tries to kick it. We've seen how this turns out. Just say 'no' to eternal optimism not grounded in reality and experience. Pay for actual performance, everyone else walks.
  12. "Quantity has a quality all its own." Attributed by various sources to both Napoleon and Stalin. In WWII, the Allied strategy in Europe depended on putting more mass produced but inferior Sherman tanks in the field, as compared to the superior and more lethal but numerically fewer German Panzers. So, there is some justification for the idea of trading down and accumulating more picks. For the record though, if Sewell, Slater or Pitts are still on the board at 8, I would take them and not trade down.
  13. Bored or not, thanks for doing the work!
  14. You can say that again.
  15. To be clear, you are suggesting that Darnold, Teddy and Mond/Mills (all three) could be on the final roster? Wow. Wouldn’t that be equivalent to asking current wife, angry ex-wife and au pair/girlfriend/future wife to share a hotel room with the kids, while on vacation at Disney World?
  16. This is a strong opinion lightly held but, I think good OC’s are easier to hire than good QB’s. Tepper’s deep pockets, many offensive weapons, an improving O line (maybe), Rhule/Fitterer, it should make this team an attractive landing spot for a really good OC. So, if Darnold has a really good year and shows he can be our franchise QB but Brady leaves for an HC position elsewhere, meh, this is still a ‘win’ in my opinion. YMMV
  17. Not much conviction in your projection. Let me know when it rises to 75.9%.
  18. Usually Saturdays. Sunday is a recovery day and then back to the office on Monday.
  19. This seems a little unbalanced in our favor. Throw in Teddy and we can feel better for having done the right thing for our old friend Marty.
