  1. That tweet is the perfect summary and why everyone has to go. This is on Frank and Fitt. Fitt should have known this when hiring Frank (if he didn’t he should be fired for that reason alone). Frank making this decision is the reason he has to go.
  2. This is where you completely miss the point. I said I wanted to see just something special, a single moment or throw. The you said nobody would thrive in this situation. Of course nobody would thrive in this situation. None of us mentioned thriving, we just wanted to see one play above normal everyday quarterbacking. Then you go to your regular “I’m smarter than you, so I’ll talk down to you” tone. Just get over yourself.
  3. This will be very interesting. If you hire a new GM and HC, and if you want the best, you can’t mandate them to keep a certain player, if you do you’ve already suboptimized the process. Also, in Teppers world you succeed by early on identifying poor assets and moving on from them. Not saying it will happen, but that is the mindset.
  4. He’s a powerful guy. Would like to see more of him impacting the passer, but he’s holding up well in the run game from what I can see.
  5. Well if the new coach (hopefully) uses a power run game and uses a QB more under center we are in decent shape with the oline. Then you can get a QB in the second if the right one falls. Spend money on a FA WR and you are not bad tbh.
  6. It was my fear when we took him, I was just hoping I was wrong, but sadly it doesn’t look like it.
  7. Oh I think the offense is terrible, I still expect to see something, just something from Bryce (or his cousin Bruce), and I very rarely do.
  8. Even my phone had enough of Bryce apparently
  9. Not that this is anything new, but there again was not a single play that made me go wow, great throw etc. Bryce did nothing today that a random FA QB couldn’t do. The complete lack of anything special is the hardest part of watching the games. Tommy DeVito started for a terrible Giants team today, got sacked 9 times!!! and still threw for 246 yards and 3 TDs with no turnovers. He’s an undrafted FA and still showed more that Bryce.
  10. I usually record the game and watch it later. The Defense is still worth watching. The offense is unwatchable. Fast forwarded most of the 4th Q after Bryce’s two gifts to the Cowboys.
  11. What bugs me is that nobody from the media is asking Frank those questions. It should be the first thing to ask.
  12. But wouldn’t the front office know what system/scheme the coach they hire would run? If they knew, it’s their fault. If they didn’t ask, also their fault. It is such a mess.
  13. I don’t think Tepper will do any changes during the season. But if we finish with 1-3 wins I expect him to clean out the front office and coaching staff.
  14. That is the odd part. I fell for it and was pro Frank as I thought he would have learned his lessons, bringing in new ideas etc. But apparently nothing has changed. Really odd.
  15. The biggest difference by far is that while Stroud makes mistakes, as in his did in last game, he also threw for 350 yards.
  16. Very fair, didn’t mean to say you are lying, my bad, I apologize
  17. I think I was one of the people calling you out. I don’t think your reaction would have been as strong if the owner was a woman and her husband attended practice. But maybe I’m wrong about you. If I owned this poo show, I probably would have joined the brain trust (using that extremely loosely in this case) to watch practice and ask questions. I don’t think having her there has any impact whatsoever. But again, that’s just my opinion.
  18. Sounds like Zavala is starting at LG again. Good for him to get some more experience, I still haven’t given up on him long term. He’s a fourth rounder that missed most of camp earlier this year.
  19. That’s the way to do it. Another team can show him the market value, then we can chose to match or cash in on 2 1st rounders. I agree with you 100%!
  20. Well you kind of just made that up. 100% of reports says Houston would have taken Bryce if they had the choice. They lucked in to us taking him ahead of them.
  21. Overall I think his intentions are the right ones, unfortunately he has no idea of how to go about it.
  22. And that’s why we need a clean house after this season. This was all preventable, but happened anyway.
  23. Ickey is in a hard spot. He finished last year strong, then the new staff built a scheme that negates most of his strengths. Would be nice to hear something more fiery, but he’s a very young guy that’s been served a you know what sandwich.
  24. Bryce did carry Alabama his last year, but the concern many of us had with Bryce was if the way he played in College would translate or not, e.g. holding the ball forever and then make something happen. It hasn’t so far, but hopefully it will eventually, but I have serious doubts. The same way I have some doubts about Caleb Williams (even though he is obviously physically superior to Bryce).Spectacular plays are fun to watch, but if you can’t do “regular plays” on an ongoing basis, spectacular ones doesn’t matter, and you won’t make it in the NFL. And that’s why Mays is the easy #1 QB in the draft next year.
  25. I think this is good and balanced analysis. It is refreshing to also point out that while circumstances are not great, Bryce also have plenty of work to do. He is not absolved due to his surroundings. He has to show more. And that is the main point of many of us criticizing him, he has to show more.
