  1. I'd take that deal all day. EDIT: I misread this. I thought we got their 2nd - #51, not their 3rd - #83. But I'd still take it. Hell, #18, #51 and Minshew would be a good haul.
  2. That would be a long list of desperate ladies...
  3. FYI, here's a list of their picks and their biggest needs (per this random article). FWIW, A few top CB's or DE's could easily be around at #6. List of Picks Round 1: No. 14 overall Round 2: No. 45 Round 3: Nos. 76, 100 Round 4: No. 110 (from Giants), 119, 128 (from Cardinals), 139, 141 Round 6: No. 196 Top Needs Cornerback – The Ravens are thin behind starters Marlon Humphrey and Marcus Peters, who are both coming off season-ending injuries. Anthony Averett, Tavon Young and Chris Westry all landed elsewhere in free agency and Jimmy Smith could retire. EDGE – Baltimore needs to get more pressure and sacks off the edge and is thin behind Odafe Oweh and Tyus Bowser, who is coming off a torn Achilles at the end of the season. Justin Houston is a free agent and Pernell McPhee could retire. Defensive line – The Ravens signed Michael Pierce in free agency, but still have question marks at both defensive end spots with Calais Campbell still on the open market and Derek Wolfe rehabbing from hip surgery. Offensive Tackle – The Ravens signed Morgan Moses to play right tackle but could still use more insurance if Ronnie Stanley isn't ready to go after a second ankle surgery. Center – Patrick Mekari is in line to be the starter after Bradley Bozeman left in free agency. However, Mekari's versatility could mean he fills in other places if the Ravens found a new starter at center.
  4. I'll give him that. He did look passable (pun unintended) at the beginning of last season. He played his heart out those first 4 games, despite being absolutely demolished in Dallas. It was nice to see someone play with a little passion after Teddy dialed it in the previous year. I think your right that losing CMC and Dallas making him think that he was still in NY broke his psyche.
  5. I doubt that, but I'd be OK if he played like a 3rd ROUND pick at this point.
  6. DAYUM, that video set my loins aquiver! Man has it all, speed, crisp routes, intelligence, work ethic. Maybe the Texans will want to trade up to # 6 to get ahead of ATL. I kinda like Byrd being one of their starting WR's this year.
  7. That was my thoughts, but I haven't done any real research at all this season. No one in the Panthers organization listens to me anyways.
  8. Fuggit! trade them Anderson's inflated contract for Mayfield's inflated contract.
  9. Dammit!!! I really wish this was the most honest thing I've read in a while!
  10. it's uncanny! I always thought he was more of a volleyball guy (at least in the series).
  11. Especially if we're rolling with our current shell shocked QB.
  12. Yeah, cross is my run away #1 I’d love if he fell to us. Feels like he’s also the best pure LT, but I will admit an SEC West LT playing in a pass first offense gives me PTSD SO, if the giants take Cross at #5, do we take Neal instead of Ickey? I know you said Neal was plug and play at RT, but he started all over that Bama line RG to RT to LT. I feel that he's P&P at either tackle spot, and probably grades out ahead of Ickey.
  13. That's the shittiest part. We spent a chunk of money, AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, draft capital when we would have looked just as good rolling with Teddy last year. I know, I know, you have to keep trying to improve... but that was an expensive mistake!
  14. I agree 100%. For the record, I'm a NC State fan, so I KNOW who I want at 6, but trading down and getting Howell plus an extra top 50 pick would be awesome, If we can't get a plug and play LT.
  15. That's an important stat. I think he's a solid choice in the back half of round 1.
  16. Sam would have to play like the second coming of Joe Montana for me to resign him to a big contract. Squeaking us into a wildcard spot behind a much improved line would make me consider signing him to a team friendly deal, as a back up/mentor, but I'm still looking to draft a QB in 2023.
  17. yeah, but I really don't like the turd! And his Progressive commercials are stupid.
  18. I like Minshew better than Baker, Garoppolo, or Darnold. Mainly because we likely get him cheap, and he doesn't have the ego of the other 3. I ASSUME that he knows he's destined to be a career back up, albeit a good career backup.
  19. Jeez, I hope if any of these 3 tackles are around when we pick, I hope we don't try to get all cutesy. Pick the frikkin LT and suck it up this draft! We may have a couple of not great options for QB, but at least they'll have a solid line in front of them.
  20. I would assume that would mean that we traded way back in the 1rst round AND see Christensen as franchise LT. If either of those things are true, Fitterer is doing a good job playing it close to the vest.
  21. That was always my philosophy at a bar when the clock strikes 1:45!
