Jaycee Horn expected to miss multiple weeks
Mr. Scot replied to jamos14's topic in Carolina Panthers
No more so than everyone is Kevin White. -
Yeeeaah...That's not how a West Coast Offense works, and it definitely isn't anything like Frank Reich or Thomas Brown's MO. Hell, anybody who watched this past Sunday's game ought to know that.
-
That depends on who's doing the evaluating. You've got ideas and opinions as far and wide as Andy Reid to Jim Irsay, so it's kind of hard to generalize the NFL as a whole.
-
And this is...uuummm Wow

Our current head trainer has been on staff since 2013 as an assistant. He was promoted when Ryan Vermilion followed Rivera to DC. Vermillion is a story in himself

Interesting take I'd still want the threat of a deep ball at least, but receiver YAC is part of a typical WCO anyway.

Clarification...

Well, this is classy The video... Guess I don't "understand the journey" either

Laughed out loud at the audience member joke

Pretty much every OL guru will tell you that left guard is easier to learn than right guard. It's generally considered the easiest position to play on the line. Factor in also that it's the spot he played in college.

Who would you rank as top 5 Panther draft busts of all time?

Anderson got a big bump from Seifert at the Senior Bowl but it wasn't deserved. Also anybody drafted in 2011 not named Cam Newton (though Kealoha Pilares at least did something). -
Collins was on a PUP list before he was let go so I don't know if that's practical.

Spent a couple of years living in Ohio with my ex-wife. Had no idea how deep the cross state hate ran until I saw it up close. -

That's grim -
Knowing it's not temporary would likely make it easier to go ahead and move Zavala left.

Yep. Sh-t

See above... The one scene that always passes through my mind anytime somebody mentions him though is Bill Polian being asked whether he had any concerns about his durability and responding "none" -

Even over Collins? That's me too. Injuries are historically damn near impossible to predict. Heaven knows we've drafted guys that were never injured in college and seen them hurt repeatedly. -

Davis isn't the only example of a guy who struggled through injuries but still managed to have a strong career. Hell, our current assistant GM would also make that list. -
You're referring to the team that drafted Mitch Trubisky (in a trade up), Rex Grossman, Cade McNown and most recently Justin Fields while also sending significant draft compensation to the Broncos for Jay Cutler? Oh yeah, not sure why anybody would doubt them

Should we also have done that with Thomas Davis? -

Horn does not in any way shape or form belong on that list, especially not over somebody like Jason Peter.- 71 replies

All-22 Review: Panthers @ Falcons [Week 1 - 2023]
Mr. Scot replied to TheCasillas's topic in Carolina Panthers
That's because it was a lousy take. Young is, by all accounts, the kind of guy who lives and breathes football, similar to if Luke Kuechly were a quarterback. It's a big reason why they trust him...and indication so far are that they should.
