A team with a power vacuum? That might be of interest to a guy who wants control of everything.

If I were forced to make a prediction, it'd be that Rhule will still be here next season. But a lot can change between now and season's end so who knows?

It looks a lot "barer" when the people in charge don't know what they're doing. -
That pretty much sums up the history of this team in a single sentence.

He's not a talent evaluator. When I look at out r front office right now, I see a GM with a load of college scouting experience (Fitterer) and an Assistant GM who's been successful in pro scouting. That's a combo I really want to see in action. Funny thing is it's also what Tepper promised we'd have when he was gonna hire an Assistant GM type to pair with Marty. That turned out to be bullsh-t, but hey... -
Not a fan of that philosophy, never have been... You need starters that play their positions well. Versatility is for backups.

Thanks man, and thanks again to everybody for the well wishes. Lady Cowboy Fan is having kind of a rough time right now. I keep trying to get her to slow down and relax but she refuses. She's one of those people who only rests when she's exhausted, and there's always something that needs to be done right now. I suppose I could be like that too if I wanted, but these days I find it's a lot easier to get exhausted than it used to be

I could live with trading down thisyear. It's a pretty good OL draft. QB? Not so much. -

Word was he tried to get a two year contract from the Panthers. They got him to settle for one year instead by adding more money to the deal. Any more games like this past Sunday and he'll have no leverage for anything like that. He's gonna need some more performances like the week before or better to restart that conversation. I think he's capable but we'll see. -
I think he's been inactive all year.

Fitterer got a 7th for Greg Little, so...

Rhule confirmed it was a factor. -
It does when you consider they were exactly the kind of lineman that Matt Rhule wanted. (which is actually one of the roots of the problem)

Also know how he feels about guys he's recruited before. We'll have to wait and see which feeling is stronger.
