Fitterer and Morgan will discuss with Reich what he wants.

Would you trade 9 for Fields - straight up?
Mr. Scot replied to musicman's topic in Carolina Panthers
No -
Will get you one...
-
Carr will be released tomorrow
-
I wasn't too impressed with Steichen's play calling
Mr. Scot replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
I was. They led KC for most of the night and came pretty damn close to beating them. Keeping up with Reid when he's at his best is not an easy thing. -
Plus the strength and conditioning guy and any assistants to the coaches, etc. I figure Campen being back means Robert Kugler will be too.

Also...

Yeah, that's pretty much what was expected.
-
Unknown, honestly
-
That works if you get a rookie you want. It's possible we won't.

Quarterbacks win championships
Mr. Scot replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
But we just hired his high school quarterback coach -
McCown coached Drake in high school. That doesn't necessarily mean anything. Just sayin'...
-
I wouldn't. The idea of using a bridge QB to give a rookie time to learn isn't a bad one. It was just done poorly by Rhule. (like...well, everything)

Panthers hire Josh McCown as QB coach
Mr. Scot replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
You mean "progress"? (some Rhule-related PTSD is still in there, I think) -
I know that Brown interview isn't scheduled till Thursday.
-
That's been talked about, and it's very possible. Speculation is that hire could happen today.

Halftime is snack and bathroom break time.

Valid, but I'm not sure how much that's going to carry over. For what it's worth, I don't really expect Carr to end up with us, but it's possible.

You don't know anything about what kind of scheme we're going to run or whether Jackson would fit it. You don't acknowledge anything about what his issues or limitations have been with his prior team. Honestly, I'm not sure you even care about those things. You just see a super athletic quarterback that reminds you of Newton and think "oh that's everything we need". In reality, you have no clue what you're talking about.
