    Made some comments on radio about happy endings not technically being illegal. Basically, he seems to have switched from "he didn't do it" to "well if he did, was it really that bad?"

    I've said I'd be fine with him having a Mac Jones type of rookie year. Of course, Jones is reportedly about to go from having Josh McDaniels calling his plays to Matt Patricia

    I think he believes he's following the Steelers model, hence all the talk about how much time it takes. The problem with that is the Steelers generally got their coaching hires right. Sticking with a bad coach isn't emulating the Steelers. It's just being stupid

    I don't hate anyone for being bad at their job. But I do recognize when someone is.

    Speculation is he may have done a lot to sink his case. I'm guessing Hardin has realized by now that the whole "he didn't do nothin" story isn't gonna fly. He's attempting to pivot to "well, what he did wasn't that bad", but I'm not so sure that's a winning strategy.

    Nobody needed Madden ratings to know that we've been a bad team for a while now. It ultimately serves as a "kick em while they're down" type thing.

    I'm gonna guess that one of the first things that gets said by whoever runs the advisory board is "we have no input on football decisions".
