    30 mil is about my ideal price for Carr and about 10 mil my ideal price for Brissett. Now, would definitely prefer less but I would personally get a little concerned if we saw prices over that for either of them.

    Some of that is market dependent, however. There have been plenty of offseasons in the past 15-20 years that backup QB prices spiked up.

    Brissett might not come at that cheap of a price. Upper tier backup QB's aren't usually at value prices anymore.

    Yeah, that retrospective story sounds like BS. It doesn't even make sense to do that because he won that narrative in the end anyway. He is starting to rival Terrell Owen's level of being weird and toxic. Unlike TO, his play on the field is also suffering.

    Not sure Fitt really gets any credit for the guys drafted prior to this offseason. Rhule was the GM so he does get the bulk of blame/credit. The reality of who was mostly responsible for each pick will likely never be known. What we do know is that from now on Fitterer is "The Guy."

    Yeah, that basically sounds like head in sand nonsense. People need negative experiences to learn and grow. It's how you deal with and grow from them that helps you get better. Just refusing to acknowledge anything negative.....that's fuging insane.

    In today's money that would be about $70 mil. But also consider the exponential rate of NFL TV revenue, which has gone up 623% from 1990 to 2020. So, in reality the cap just matches the insane money they make. Goodell set a goal to have league revenue at $27 billion by 2027.

    In fairness, prior to last season you would have a hard time finding many that didn't consider Wilson a top QB. That's a hindsight mistake. It was a mistake in foresight to have paid Murray and Dak that money.

    That always depends on the results. Plus that $40 mil mark isn't really gonna look like much in a couple of seasons. Still, I don't want to be the team making an investment like that.
