  1. I am just looking forward to the post-Rhule era. If we can somehow get a good coach, maybe Tepper's impulsive nonsense can get tempered. If not, I will just circle back when Tepper moves on.
  2. I also don't know that the coaches would agree that we were bad at run defense. Remember these guys live in a bubble and don't really see what the rest of the world does.
  3. We have no idea if those choices will be made or not. Chinn may stay at safety, YGM may stay a rotational guy. Just based on looking at the current roster, I suspect we will get worse on that side of that ball.
  4. We will probably go QB this draft, it will be a disaster and complete the full set of Panthers Tepper/Rhule terrible QB choices. I am pretty much expecting that. Or maybe we will double down on trading a shitload of draft capital for a QB like Jimmy G.
  5. Yeah and I remember similar sentiment with the Jones signing. At this point, I am not particularly excited about any signing until I see them play for us.
  6. I suspect we are gonna see an even worse run defense this season. The roster is very much shaping up that way.
  7. Keeping Darnold is gonna happen anyway, no one wants him. Getting Ryan would never happen, I doubt he wants to come to this dumpster fire and drafting Willis would only make sense with a quality veteran starter. It would make far, far less dense with a 6th round pick. More like a 2nd or 3rd round pick in that scenario. We aren't the team nor the scenario for Willis.
  8. Jimmy G is not going to get a 1st round pick. Zero chance.
  9. Save the fuging money. Don't spend it on this staff, please. Otherwise we have no hope of ever getting a good coach here.
  10. Or, even better, don't spend that money and entice a good HC to come here with the crazy cap space we have in 2023.
  11. It will be some other bum. And the decent options in free agency are almost gone now.
  12. I'd take Baker for that in normal circumstances. Now....absolutely not. He will be just good enough so that Rhule doesn't get fired and we will be stuck with him at least another year.
  13. So did Sunshine down in Jacksonville but that didn't work out either.
  14. I'd say I feel about him like I did Mac Jones. Low ceiling, medium floor.
  15. Yeah, that is a great scenario for him or any young QB.
  16. Yeah, he is a nightmare pick for us. The only guy I could see maybe doing okay in our circumstances is baby hands. But I wouldn't want to spend a 6th on him.
  17. He has the best physical skills of any QB in this draft. He also has a history of completely melting down against any difficult competition. He is the classic high risk, high reward guy. Super high ceiling, super low floor.
  18. I don't know what you are smoking but I'd like an ounce, if possible.
  19. Basically how the Saints have successfully operated for a while
  20. Tepper deserves most of the blame but fug that used car salesman(Rhule), as well. I would hope we can also be adults enough to also leave the man(and FOR SURE his family) alone in public. Boo Rhule at the stadium? Have at it. He's getting paid well enough to be able to take it.
  21. It would definitely get Rhule fired, so maybe that is true.
  22. The culture that Rhule has bred is complete lack of personal accountability. That will remain and I suspect take some effort to root out by the next coaching staff.
