We aren't gonna know for a few seasons anyway. All we can do is hope. -

He was a Gettlemagic fanboy too. He just didn't like Marty was the core of his angst. Not a lot to like, to be sure, but the full 180 was a bit much. The current crowd? Well....wait and see, IMO. Some good, some bad but mostly unknown. -

Darnold, Erving and Elflein are the big three. Those moves could easily make the FO look bad. Other than those, the FA moves looked pretty solid. Good gambles. -
Back from vacation, talk to me about your training camp interests.

I think the QB situation is really going to come down to regular season games. Darnold falters when the fire is live, so we aren't going to know until that happens. The only things that he could do to make a lot of concern in training camp is to look like complete poo(the whole time) or get injured. Those would be instant areas for concern. -

What's Joe Brady up to these days?

She looks hot but now imagine her with a Boston accent. 7 point deduction. -
Carolina Panthers' three-year salary cap forecast looks strong

This also probably doesn't accurately include the projected massive cap jump due to the new TV deal. -

Former Reddit refugees have a big site. I can PM it.

My comment is really not related to DirectTV and their overpriced NFL shovelware.

It is amazing how miserly rich and wealthy people can be. Especially the ones that built that wealth themselves.

REPORT: No movement in Panthers’ talks w/ Taylor Moton
kungfoodude replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
The notable one would be Le'veon Bell in 2018. -
I actually did know that. I had a private jet pilot that I rented a condo on Lake Norman from many years ago that told me about being Randy's pilot. Then he said some super racist about him and made a real awkward silence.

He may end up just holding out if we tag him next season. -

Yeah, I mean the answer has always been pretty obvious. -
Listen, let's not kill CMC for that albatross of a contract(although it may look small in two years when the cap skyrockets). He didn't offer it to himself. #HurneyMagic

It's genuinely starting to feel like a curse. Maybe it's that black cat outside the stadium? Or maybe it was Jeans Friday? -
Peppers is definitely a first ballot HOFer.

I think it is way to early to even say that about Burns. He may yet flourish into a complete and dominant pass rusher rushers get much better in run support. He is just a third year player, keep in mind. And he spent much of year one in the Rivera doghouse.
-
That literally has zero to do with either my post or the post l am responding to. Nothing.

I would actually say that Burns is the only one in that top shelf category. Reddick is in the "potential" category only because he was a bust until his contract year. The raw material is there but you always have to be suspicious of a guy that blows up in the last year of his contract. That is why I love the contract we signed him for. Excellent prove it deal. Jones has been a quality starter in the NFL for years but definitely not an elite player. I would say a good player but I don't know if I would say he has a ceiling that can get him into that top shelf group at 29. It's possible but unlikely. And, ultimately, I don't think that it matters. If he was just what he was in TEN, it will be a big upgrade and he will be a starter and contributor for us. Derrick Brown is high in potential but very low in reps on the field. I'd put him in that "stud potential" group until he more consistently shows it on the field. He is our best candidate to ascend into that group in the next 1-2 seasons. I would honestly split that "Above Average" group out and put the "Stud Potential" guys slightly above them. I don't think most Above Average players have Stud Potential, being my logic behind that. Say, for instance, Jones is Above Average but Derrick Brown has Stud Potential.
