He is extremely talented and I have zero issue drafting him, for the record.

People have definitely not been talking about how INSANELY easy the Ohio State's schedule has been this year. Not trying to take anything away from Stroud per se but playing the sisters of the poor every week does factor in.

Except neither Cam nor Fields struggled with accuracy like Richardson has. Cam was a 65.4% career passer in college. Justin Fields was a 68.4% career passer. Anthony Richardson is now at 54.7% as a career passer. The kid does not see the field well at all. And he also cannot hit his target often. Those are two of the biggest red flags possible for an NFL prospect at QB.

I don't think he has ever faced something as challenging as Nebraska, though. -

Need to grab momentum early in this period. Looking sketchy.

There are factors in that equation that we don't know anything about as laymen. It may be that he isn't that coachable. It may be that he doesn't work on his craft. It may be that Florida's development is trash. Those aren't things most of us will ever know and all these evaluators will have to try and get a handle on.

Sure, and this is the classic "Russell Wilson" or "Tom Brady" argument. If you base your projections on outliers, it usually ends up poorly. Now, are his(Richardson's) issues with either mechanics and field vision correctable? Possibly. It's up to the scouting department to figure out if that is something he has tried to correct and simply cannot or just hasn't been developed correctly.

A boom or bust prospect should at least be somewhat within the boom range. I am not seeing that for Richardson. Outside of physically looking the part and having a good arm, he has no other valid QB qualities. That's a problem. Even Levis has times where you clearly see QB qualities in his play. Richardson rarely had any.

This is the most laughable take of the season. Thank you for this excellent comedy.

That was a franchise torpedoing deal. They might not be relevant for a long time if they don't recover. Unfortunately, I do believe a huge amount of their struggles are attached to their HC. It's possible that turns around when they fire him. Hopefully it will take them a long time to figure that out.

Outperforming Wilson on the Broncos is not a high bar to hit. I am very much enjoying the dumpster fire they are turning into.

213 yards, 1 TD, 3 INT's.

Dan Graziano: Panthers interested in Frank Reich

In fairness, lots of very successful NFL coaches were once retreads. It's not always the KOD. -
Yeah that 1.5 cent brain is a huge issue. Which, Darnold would currently be the least experienced QB in the first round with his NFL experience. People forget that his total experience playing QB is insanely low.

That's why we rolled out our supreme tank commander......
