And we can tag him up to three times although that third tag is likely to be an insane price.

The injury issues are valid but they are statistically VERY similar on a per game basis. Like, eerily similar. So, it is possible that this is a good benchmark for the deal we might be able to get. It is gonna depend on how much he wants to be here and how much he perceives his value.

Yeah, I was pretty heated.

Have someone withdraw a six figure sum unexpectedly and see how emotionally invested you get in your bank.

This should have been pink socks.

This is bad news. I mean, now the most incompetent owner in the NFL is about to exit. The distance between us and having the most incompetent might be closing.

I mean @Zod's feet, you pervert.

I don't suspect you will see PJ as a long term NFL starter but I do think he may play his way into an NFL journeyman QB spot for the remainder of his career. Which, that's a pretty good life and some damn good money.

If we reach our goal, will you post sensual feet pics?

I mean, that is a 4-3 or 5-3 record at the #1 overall pick for a QB in that span(depends on how Trevor turns out). I will take a 57-63% hit rate all day long.

Why I feel Wilks needs another season to win his job.
kungfoodude replied to Snake's topic in Carolina Panthers
Pretty much. He has ample time to audition and show he is the guy the remainder of the year. The cap has proven to be a mirage. If we are smart we will be fine. -
We have our Franchise LT with Ickey
kungfoodude replied to Chris Smitty's topic in Carolina Panthers
Icky has shown he has franchise LT potential. But, we don't want to start calling this shot this early in his career. I don't see how anyone can be anything but pumped about it so far. -
Rams Offering Two (Future) Firsts for Burns
kungfoodude replied to OnlyPantherFaninMaine's topic in Carolina Panthers
This is a tough one, TBH. Burns is bordering on being an elite pass rusher but by the same token is also isn't yet an elite pass rusher. He is coming up on his deal but we also have the franchise tag that we can use to keep him around if necessary. So, this is really a bet on what we think of Burns, what we think the Rams will be in 2024/2025 and that Burns will always fit in our defensive scheme. It's not as simple as "fug YEAH, TRADE HIM" or "fug NO, NOT ENOUGH!" -
Smith was a beloved all time great, so that situation was a little different. The "lose" is a hindsight argument. That is TBD.
-
Yeah but just hat on a hat "beat him" is less effective than actually scheming people open and running effective plays. Like I said, that is old school stuff. It's fine if you have a Calvin Johnson, Randy Moss, Jimmy Graham, etc. It works a lot less effectively if you don't have an elite guy like that. That's trying to attempt to take the hard way out of a situation.

McAdoo is just not a good OC. CMC had some good OC's here in the past that could take advantage of his skillsets(hell Brady was much better than McAdoo, for that matter). He is with an OC that will use him properly. Our OL is set up for a brusing runner like Foreman, so it's a win-win. Especially considering the draft capital we gained. All it is gonna take is CMC getting dinged up and all the butthurt about him leaving with disappear.

IDK what it is with Huddlers and getting hung up on race. First it was Cam and now CMC. Ya'll need to dial it down a notch.

Imagine that, an NFL head coach(not Rhule) isn't throwing a reactionary hissy fit, unlike the Huddle.
-
Yeah but remember they were also pretty hyped about that 2022 QB class. Then when they started actually talking to actual scouts they realized what the league itself thought of that class.
-
You are just generally moving the goalposts on what you think we don't have. Olsen was very obviously the kind of red zone receiving threat we relied on(same with Shockey, Walls, etc) at that position. Sometimes because we didn't have reliable red zone WR's. I am not gonna get caught up on the idea of throwing jump balls or fades. If you have quality threats, you can scheme them open. You don't need these old possession/jump ball end zone threats from the bygone era. Especially when you have even bigger and more athletic LB's and DB's that are more suited to defending that stuff.

6-5, 255? I don't know what world that is considered small.

I am not sure his NFL value is terribly high at the moment. He has just about every red flag imaginable.

Or two.
